If the seat you want is free now you can get it now. You only have to wait if you want a currently reserved seat.

What I find strange is why people leave it until the last minute to renew, putting strain on the ticket office staff and also causing themselves frustration of queuing or busy telephones.

    Hi Johnny,

If you have an annual policy of repeat extensions you get a one-off marginal gain but at the cost of the long-term loss of trust/belief. After the first year, the policy quickly becomes counterproductive. We've seen that already with last years extension.

It's also unfair on those who have signed up on the basis of the deadline.

There is enough options and time to buy a season ticket at £150. Same script every year and same crappy argument.
If the club extend they should raise them to £200 so there still Well priced but the people who commited in the first phase of sales benefit by the cheaper price A 50 percent increase is unlikely to get more people in .
The club have to stick to the deadline for
Once . Moving it every year is annoying when some people have made sacrifices to meet the deadline . Anyone who thinks there is thousands waiting for a extension to buy a season ticket after this deadline is on drugs

I had to cut back on some things to make sure I had enough before the deadline.

For all those who did the same or saved up, making sacrifices along the way, why should the club extend the deadline.

Instead of “what can the club do for me, ask what can I do for the club”.

Theres quite a few clubs whose early bird deals end before our cheap ticket offer does. There are plenty of things to have a moan about at our club but our season ticket deal ain't one of them. If people can't renew by the date asked by the club then sod them. They quite clearly don't want to take up the offer. Charge the buggers full price.

    Some wonky economic theories here...

My opinion is that it's nothing to do with the cost of an ST. The club lost 1000's of ST holders last season & may lose a similar amount this, that's a pretty catastrophic loss.

It's unusual circumstances, the sacking of SmC, the dawning realisation that Edin was taking us backwards and the prospect of L2 football again, it's entirely negative circumstances.

It's no good and there is no point in relying on the hardcore when they'd pay £300. They need to butter up & reengage with the 1000's of refusniks who might have calmed down by summer and may decide to renew.....at £150.

Agreed if you are simply renewing the same seat but switching to a flexi or moving seat is not possible online

It would be interesting to see the numbers who renewed after the deadline last season.

Any season, l'd like to know walk up figures too.

For floaters and for those just deciding on a Saturday morning what local game to take in, BCFC is not simple as it should be, not in 2019.

Well there you go @Glenn Ackroyd@Glenn Ackroyd, let Julian and Stefan know that their season ticket strategy is ‘completely wonkie’ You should build it round the ‘fans’ that have not been attending games and would rather watch non league football. You have to understand that ‘due to the circumstances surrounding the club, Rahic, prospect of league 2 football, and the sacking of SMc, they are angry, and may calm down by summer. So here it is those fans who have watched city for the last 2 seasons, should pay £300! So this offer will end on the 14th April, and the £150 offer will be open until the summer in order to allow those who may or may not have calmed down can purchase their tickets if they feel like it.

Yes, but extending it by a couple of weeks every ruddy season? If fans are serious about supporting this club they’d buy tickets. If not, then 2 more weeks isn’t going to make a difference.

As Fordy rightly pointed out, folks know when the tickets are on sale. It’s not a surprise, so why should they then ask for an extension??

It is if the seat is available . I moved no problem by applying under the season ticket page from scratch (using my membership number ) rather than the renewing page

Because nobody would guess we would win one game in our last 16, it's not an easy sell. Maybe to me and other users on here it doesn't make it any different because we will always buy but not everybody is in the same boat are they? It doesn't matter to me but if adding 14 days to a deadline doesn't have too much of an impact and brings in more sales why should the club not look at it? What is the negative in trying to get more sales in?

I'd suggest that anyone who's already bought one must be at least partial to the odd illegal narcotic.

I can understand not extending the deal any further, However the deal should have been till the 4th May originally to scoop up the extra pay day, Closing it between 2 pay days makes little sense, Lack of forward thinking that may have helped some fans signing up with the benefit of another pay day.
