    ship referendum
“ Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union
This was the question we were asked. Leaving the custom union and single market were Tory election promises and they haven’t the majority to achieve it

I thought it was uncalled for but just shows how passionate remainers and leavers are on this subject, I have never stooped that low as to use those sort of condescending comments to a fellow poster.
I've watched Bradford City long enough to take a few silly comments on the chin.

No it wasnt Cameron said it the night before the vote, if you vote leave you vote to leave the EU, single market and customs union, I'll try and find the video. he says quite clearly on here a once in a generation choice, an in or out referendum, when the British people speak their voice will be respected.

Oh no. Supporters of leaving have been nasty... let's call it all off.

    Get real.

And by the way I ain't particularly fussed either way. But your attitude makes me think, feck it.. I hope we leave without a deal... ahhh it's gonna be the end of the world.

I have a business ive worked hard on for years and i resent that i may lose my business. I think its uncalled for that my best friend who was born in italy but has lived here now for 25 years had to pay £1000 to become a british citizen and face the degrading questions on his britishness that most city fans wouldnt be able to answer. I think that is uncalled for. A man who has paid tens of thousands in tax to this country forced to sit in a room with a ton of non english speaking economic migrants and be spoken to in the same manner as some random person trying to get in from outside europe. Its a disgrace.

No. Just pissed me off slightly with you high and mighty opinions.

The fact it's taken this long is because 80% of parliament wanted to remain, and have done everything they can to throw a spanner in the works.

It has nothing to do with leavers being "nasty"

High and mighty is the exact opposite of ignoring the advice of experts on the proviso that experts are sometimes wrong.

Sometimes in life people need telling whats better for them. Like banning smoking indoors, annoying but probably better for the nation in the long run.

As yet there is nothing to say what effect brexit will have on anything, for every negative comment there is a possitive comment, we are in an unpresidented position no one has had the audacity to leave.
You won't get me to disagree with your final comment, just before the referendum vote the papers quoted net immigration into the EK was 320,000, that was broken down to just over 100,000 EU immigrants who have every right under free movement, but the other 220,000 we from eleswhere and many of those we could have stopped/reduced, but for some reason the minister in charge (Theresa May) did not, even after there manifest said they would get immigration down.
What I find strange you say you would rather have a hard brxit because a soft brexit is good for nobody, if thats the case and I don't disagree ( obviously as a leaver) why are the majority of MPs doing their damndest to get a soft brexit through.
Well at least we agree on that point.

The Brexit side have blown it, Mays plan was flawed but not fatally and if had been accepted would have meant we were legally out of the EU with 2 years to agree a trade deal which would have solved the back stop, By refusing to accept Mays deal there could only be one outcome and that was to eventually remain in the EU, A combination of stubborn and stupid MPs in the hard no deal group and the devout remainers have meant our best bet of leaving has been lost unless Mays plan is brought back and accepted

Like the "Experts" review of Primodos who reassured the women taking it was safe after reviewing all the evidence and allowing it to be used? Now after a University have looked at the same evidence it seems it is not safe at all and the University cannot understand how the "experts" could ever declare it safe
When it comes to experts you have to realise like the rest of us they need to be paid, It is who pays them that should always be the first question before believing them

That’s the crux of it this is a Parliamentary democracy and their is no majority in Parliament for a hard Brexit

The Tory manifesto calls for an Orderly leaving of the E.U. so that rules out no deal

Yes of course it does and I believe in the tooth fairy, come on this was never going to be orderly, we have two very passionate groups one who don't want brexit and will do all in their power to stop it and another group who are just as passionate and can see that the remainers are high jacking the process.
I do hope when May goes back for a further extension the EU tel her where to go, but then again why should they they have us by the b**s and no one can blame them.
The European Parliament election's will be interesting the UK sending dozens of Nigel Farage's back to Brussels.

It’s not going to happen either there will be a deal with labour or she will bring options to Parliament and as Parliament has a majority against hard Brexit it won’t be an option you like

Was that in Gipsy Rose Lee's tea reading this morning as you took a stroll an the prom at Bridlington, if MPs had their way there would not be a brexit on offer to vote on.
