I agree, and tbh do we really want someone who is so hard to appoint.

 

I am not sure it is a great idea to do the good/bad news conundrum. The new manager could be swamped in the fan backlash. Unless of course we are hiring a high flyer

How long does it take to say "yes please" or "no thank you"
If there is so much doubt then is he really the right man for the job
If he is keen to join then fine but he has had long enough to suss the situation
Or do "championship managers" take longer to decide
Surely if he was keen to be the manager he would have accepted long before now
If he is still half hearted then move on to the next I wouldn't want him

 

If Grayson does come and brings his own men that would suggest that Greg doesn't have a part to play within the new set up, that would be quite an achievement for Grayson, now just work on the tight wads to get a decent player budget.

 

I can understand SG's point of view , but it needs sorting by tomorrow at the latest . We need to get started with the recruitment early or once again be searching in the bargin basement with 1 week to go yet again .

The owners really wanted SG to sign a 2 and a half year deal so I think that they are trying their best to meet SG's demands before he signs on the dotted line.

If SG does sign then I believe we will have a team that will more than hold its own next season.

Scunthorpe are happy to spend so he wont have a problem there trying to get a good player budget.

 

Well if we can’t find a good quality experienced manager, I would try an up and coming younger manager. Or maybe Heckingbottom, doubt he will be there long. I don’t know who is available, throw some names at me?

 

True think he would get a big budget there to sign players where as ours is lower 12th budget which I can’t understand with the size of our club compared to Scunthorpe
