It’s only the same reason they have missed a big handful of incidents this season. In fact I can’t think of any season in the 60 years of coming that so many have gone against us. We are going to need a whole lot of luck in the remaining matches to even things up

 

Not sure how people believe we were unlucky and deserved a point. We had 5 shots in the entire game and just one on target. We deserved to lose.

I suppose the anomaly in opinions can be explained by reference to those actually watching the game versus those that choose to merely navigate to the BBC Football website.

 

When you luck at Luton’s record this season I bet a lot of fans of other teams say the same the highest goal scorers and second best defence. We put up a decent show last night

Disagree, we dominated the second half and should have had a penalty, plus Ball was pushed when he was through on goal. It was a performance that deserved at least a point.

 

From watching the game without looking at the stats, I felt we carved out at least as many opportunities as Luton. Obviously we didn't execute them.

 

And we’re falling out the Arse end of it through one mans hubris.

I could ping a few 50 yard efforts but it doesn't mean any closer to scoring but stats look better. Ball and NKP won't have counted towards shots. Don't get too infatuated by stats

 

Not according to the BBC stats mate, now how accurate they I'm not sure.

 

You are missing out the 3 or 4 chances Luton SHOULD have scored from. so 1-3 would have been fair.

 

What about the two good penalty shouts we had

You are getting close to Fordys level of negativity at his worst, I've read plenty of Luton fans who said we could have sneaked a point quite easily.

 

I've been saying this for a long time.

 

A team missing chances that they shouldn't have missed means they deserved to win? Don't really follow the logic. Not taking chances is often quoted as being justification for exactly the opposite outcome.

 

Its all if buts n maybes, did anyone really expect owt? It would have been a bonus if we had. The important thing now is that the bradford army get 3 points at Oxford on Saturday! Looking on their forum they think Karl Robinson is a deluded numpty and are far from a happy camp.
