    I don’t know why people keep on moaning like this it’s the same every January for aall clubs. Most business isn’t done until very close to the deadline.
    With loans club leave it as late as possible in case of injuries before releasing. And signings wait for the best deal.we are not unique in this.

    this old chestnut again. it's a myth.

    no one 'waits' for the best deal. deals can and do get done early, we just haven't offered enough, or the releasing team haven't been willing to let go for whatever reason.

    Club are still working hard to get this signing over the line, sorry guys I was told 80% likely yesterday but nothing ever seems to go to plan at City. If this means I have to take a 'ITK' award then I am going to have to accept it like a man :rolleyes: (but it might still happen this pm!!)

    Might solve our loan problem yes, but will create another in that we will then need at least 2 strikers to come in, rather than just the one we are currently struggling to get.

    Surridge is a massive upgrade on miller, but we'd still have the same problem of only 2 strikers.
