Must be someone coming in. The bench may have been threadbare but he was one of the few sat on it!

 

I've just read the full announcement. Judging from his words he has loved his experience here. I am pleased to hear that he is moving on to another opportunity with a German team rather than just being released. I know I'm a saddo but I will probably look out for his results!

I take it City have paid up his contract with approx 5 months left to run, so i hope there is a striker incoming as the bench is poor enough.

Favourite memory of kai is when playing against northampton last season and 2 of their players take themselves out on the touchline and poor kai gets booked even though he never touched them.
Never touched the net either.

 

How many is that gone now and in addition the 3 told to leave?

Much needed. Good on Hopkin and the owners for backing him and letting him make his own mind up

 

He was living the dream and showed it every time he went on the pitch.

His attitude was excellent and to read the majority of posts wishing him well, is heartwarming.

Like others, I'm a bit sad about this. I loved his attitude at a time of rock bottom morale and I think he'll always be a bit of a cult hero here. I hope he does well in Germany.
Shame he didn't have more games like Oxford, where he definitely contributed to the victory that arguably turned the corner for us. But our playing style has moved on and he'd never have coped with our quick fire pass and move current modus operandus.
Our lack of wingers for most of this season certainly didn't help his chances of bagging a goal or two.
You have to believe this means we've definitely got another striker coming in before Barnsley, given the threadbare state of our bench.

I’m gutted. Out of all the players that were not in first 11 he was the one I hoped would stay. He is always on the bench and came on a lot which would say he was above others in Hopkin’s thoughts.

Hope he does well where ever he goes.

Hopefully we can get shut of some of those that haven’t put the work in that he did.
