I'm sure I am not the only one whom has questioned DH, whether that be tactics, team selection, substitutions and so on.

Have I. Oh yes.

That said, I want DH to be given the opportunity to stamp his managerial career on BCFC. Throughout this year, it has been turmoil after turmoil. Staff turnover, manager turnover, playing staff turnover, fans rightfully angry at the goings on and so on.

What we need now IMO, is a period of stability. In terms of management we can get that. (Off the field may well be a long journey). A manager that is provided with his own back room staff, the ability to bring his own players in and truly impose his style. We could get rid of DH again but the cycle of instability starts again. Not for me.

Shoots, and that's all they are at this point, of recovery are occuring. Some of the positivity around the club, is drip feeding back onto these boards and amongst the terraces at VP. Results are 'improving' and the narrative is DH will be supported in January.

So I'm for DH to be given time.

 

Our current mess certainly isn't down to Hopkin and i agree he needs time. The only thing that annoys me about him is his persistence to continue with Chicksen. He's a terrible player and it's the one position where we actually have a superior alternative.

Well I will give you he is inconsistent, he played well against Oxford, but not against Luton, and seemed error ridden again today, but I didn’t go so will need somebody to assess his play.

 

It’s a start we.need to keep picking up points we have had some tough matches lately so it’s not a bad effort but the next three are against teams we need a good tally of points against

 

He's reiterated that he wants to add 3 or 4 quality players, which could make a big difference.

A centre and left back, left winger and striker. Possibly even 2 strikers. Get the right quality into those areas, plus Scannell back and we'd be a different team.

4/5 wins back to back is promotion, if not L1 winner, form. Expecting anyone to take this dog's breakfast of a squad to those levels is delusional nonsense. We have no wingers, little creativity and a bunch of inadequate and/or out of form strikers.
The best we can hope for is to keep it tight and hope to grind out draws and some wins until the end of the year. Compare the results of October and November and you'll see that we've started to do that.
We've no chance of putting a consistent 4 or 5 game winning run together with the squad as it currently is. Get to January without being cut adrift and improve the squad and we might then have a chance of stringing a few wins together.

Let's not forget that you predicted relegation problems in every season that PP was taking us higher up the league, so what on earth do you know?
