You failed to answer the question so I will ask you another which is the most important ridding ourselves of Edin or avoiding relegation. I am sure I know the answer to this in the whole fan base I am not sure I can say the same on here

 

We've been patient enough waiting for Edins plans to materialise, time for the club to start talking and give us the evidence why a flyover would harm the club. This bollocks passing it to Bingley bantams then Chinese whispers reaching us with no substance isn't enough. Give us answers and then we'll be patient

There were rumours at yesterday’s match that a major sponsor of the club were trying to put together a consortium to try and buy the club.

As I see it @JonButterfield had to make a decision at the last moment which he did. If the money isn't forthcoming from the source what promised the refund then I would suggest @City-since-67 refunds the money as he was the one to approach Jon on behalf of the club. We should now wait till the club make an announcement regarding Edin rahic and his future at the club if it isn't the answer what we require put the flyover back on and go ahead with it regardless of what people say.

 

Why on earth would a potential investor be put off from buying a club because of a flyover?

Makes no sense.

 

Which suggests that it's not a complete buy out / takeover on the cards as why would a lack of support of the outgoing owners matter one iota to the new owners. A new investor coming in with money to buy out Edin is a possibility under the scenario that has been painted but also implies that this new investor is oblivious to what has gone on over the last 12mths of increasing fan unrest. Sorry, I can't believe that.

I'm calling bu11sh!t on the whole thing but hope beyond hope that the end result is still Edin out but I can't make any logical sense of a need to cancel based on hurting the club as a result of an investor pulling out if the flyover went ahead.

Certain clubs in the vicinity must be laughing tin hats at the anger and demands being made between some members on the forum regarding the cancellation of the flyover. Rightly or wrongly depending on your viewpoint I was looking forward to seeing the flyover yesterday. I contributed a small amont to it and would probably have not added Rupp’s name to it but can’t see how the petted arguments on here are going to help. Don’t see how Jon Butterfield could have appeased everyone with the time constraints he was working under.
I felt quite positive following yesterday’s game.
