    Absolutely. Wonder if he will return? Remember having a discussion in the summer about that useless centre half from t'other side of the world whom he said would be like a new signing when over his injury. I debated, he countered with nothing but blind faith.

    Theres a few pockets of resistance left mate but most have been flushed out. Still a couple posting on here but they'll disappear just like Park Banchum.

    Someone was telling me a nice story the other day about booking a holiday. The sun, the sea, sand, said it would be right romantic.

    Then it took a turn.

    Things got nasty.

    Started discussing destinations, using names of countries, and all sorts of untoward, evil, racist terms.

    Not happy.

    Park will be like one of those Japanese snipers from WW2 who lived in the jungle until the 90s, steadfastly refusing to believe the local villagers that they’d been beaten.

    He’ll be in a cave somewhere eating tinned spam, reading programmes from 1998 for the next 15 years and emerging just in time for our local derby with Ossett Albion, refusing to believe anyone that it’s a league game and not a pre-season friendly.

    Brunker will be captain. And still waiting to get off the mark for the season.

    And Osset will be odds-on favourites.

    Ah now you see that is you being deluded....we won't be playing Osset Albion. They merged with Town and are now Osset United....but yes they would be favourites.....

    I offered a £100 bet to Fordy at the start of the season where I would pay £100 to the burns unit if we were relegated he chickened out.
    I will do that should we be relegated.
