    Well if they have i hope it wasn't for advice about running a football club, cos either Rahic wasn't listening or Rhodes's advice was complete bollocks.

    What is missing is, ‘and he listens to my advice about running the club’.

    Despite Rhodes talking to him in mid August, it has all gone ‘turtle’!

    In fact if his advice has not brought about positive change as a result of their lunch’s, is there any point in him acting as a ‘consultant’?

    I will not, you stated he was going to carry on with what he had been doing. That is not correct having lunch or phone calls is not quite the same thing as moving into VP, and working there now is it? get a grip!

    You can lead a horse to water....

    The only thing we can do is wait to see what happens with Rhodes and what changes are made. I think the biggest thing will be backing Hopkin to get who and what he wants. Rhodes will lean on his time as chairman with varying managers over the years.

    It has all gone "turtle" but we will hopefully see change, possibly too late

    I genuinely hope you are right. However Rhodes does not need someone vetoing what he is trying to achieve. He needs to be empowered and funded!

    Whether he can steer clear of the iceberg of League 2, only time will tell.

    I imagine he is, surely they wouldnt appoint someone and pay them only to ignore what he says

    I am not sure he would want payment, but who knows, he did literally show him the door, so he might want to make them pay. Will Edin get a reduction in his pay?

    I have a family member who works as a Business Management Consultant for one of the Big Four, they often give advice, but it is then up to the organisation to implement it. Sometimes they find reasons, for not doing so, or only do so partially.

    I would assume that he may well be on a large fee. For instance a fee of £300 or more per hour for a consultant from a leading strategy consulting firm is not untypical. Not sure what they have agreed to.

    What correlation is that to what we are taking about. Can we go back to the start of the season and see predictions and views of signings.
    We are still only in November let’s see what things look like in May
