    Hello,

There is significant concern amongst supporters about hygiene and health and safety issues at Valley Parade, which significantly, adversely impact on the match day experience. Rather than express my views, perhaps it would make sense to read the opinions of a wide range of Supporters, who share concerns about the situation.
    https://bantamtalk.com/index.php?threads/and-another-thing.8351/
Some of these issues really should be addressed as a matter of urgency.
    Regards

Davide Longo says the club "have it in hand" what ever that means, they were quick to show BRSK installing the cables yet its still not up and running, in the McCall Suite yesterday once it started to fill up the connection was very hit and miss,

I think you must be right about the blockage issues in the main stand toilets. I can only speak about the female toilets in the Midland Road and they are always clean and the washbasins have running hot water, no problems.

The new seats in the main stand must be smaller than the old ones because they have managed to add an extra seat to our row.

I must agree that jet washing all the toilets, introducing ‘functioning’ hot water and more hand dryers to the toilets in the Main (JCT) West Stand is not an unreasonable expectation.

Would it be possible for the club/catering contractor to install quick pouring pint dispensers that you see in most modern stadia? I spent the whole of halftime queuing for a burger because a few guys in front were getting pints of Madri, that poured slower than liquid gold through a straw. I remember a few years back at Beeston and they had pints lined up behind the bar so there was no waiting. Or have separate queues for hot drinks, food and then beer.

The systems where you can pay in advance and have some form of receipt as proof on collection, with it poured 10 minutes before half time makes sense. They have been doing this for years in theatres! Even if they had ‘cash’ customers there is no real reason a significant number of drinks couldn’t be poured beforehand.

To summarise findings in this thread for the club if they are reading it (as @Bigrod@Bigrod highlighted it in an email to them):
    1. Unclean toilets cubicles in the ladies (stand not stated).
    2. PA inaudible in the kop - people could not hear Dean Windass last week or Gary Jones this week.
    3. Main stand upper tier - railings, stairways, toilets, kiosks all in a poor state of repair, needing cleaning, painting, repairing rot and damp, clearing moss etc.
    4. Steps at far end of kop near Midland Road are green with moss and dirt and need jet washing.
    5. Water leak from main pipe in the kop (not stated exactly where in the kop).
    6. Toilets seemingly not cleaned at the end of each match day. (Note someone has stated that the ladies toilets in the Midland Road are clean, but this is not replicated in other parts of the ground).
    7. Various sink taps not working in various parts of the ground.
    8. Fan wi-fi not working (note to self - I didn't even know we had fan wi-fi).
    9. Toilet in cubicle in 2013 Suite leaking.
    10. Wood with nails sticking out of it left in the gents toilet in the McCall/Hendrie Suite (now placed on top of a wall between the first two cubicles)
    11. North West Corner ground level toilets - right hand cubicle door doesn't close.
    12. Seats have the same stains from previous seasons so are clearly never cleaned.
    13. 2013 Suite - broken toilet seat, and disgusting toilets in general seemingly not cleaned since last season.
    14. Not enough hand driers in the toilets, and the hand driers that are there are completely ineffective.
    15. Not a maintenance issue, but fans standing in gangways behind the stand oblivious to people wanting to get through, blocking the whole area off, and the stewards don't ask them to move to the side to maintain a clearway. Also people going into the toilets of the entrances marked "out" and out of the entrance marked "in" does not help with flow of people when its busy. Stewards don't do anything about this.
Feel free to copy/paste this and add number 16. onwards - hopefully this will help the Head of Maintenance and three Maintenance Assistants & Safety Officer listed on the club web-site.

Better get them removed before the health inspector shows up.

Compared to most pubs, the toilets are fine. Funny I don't see complaints about the toilets in the Rose & Crown or fighting *@?$, both of which are rank, but then that isn't something to complain about bcafc about is it.

    First World problems.

    Sorry, that's just wrong.

I'm in the main stand and taking my 4 year old daughter to the designated "family friendly" toilets we were literally wading through puddles. They were trying to sweep away the fluid (no idea if water, piss or a mixture of the two) as people were frequenting the loos.

It's disgusting and just because boozers have naff toilets that doesn't mean everywhere else can be judged by that lowly standard.

Nonsense take, would you be happy going to the cinema if it was a s***hole? What about a restaurant? You might be happy in an 1860's trench General but it's 2024 and it isn't asking much to have a clean seat.

I was in a pub in Bradford last night that had 3 traps in the Gents and not a bloody seat between them.

You may want to use this form to raise your concerns.

    https://www.bradfordcityafc.com/supporters/services/compliments--complaints

Perhaps other posters (@Wakefield Bantam@Wakefield Bantam ?) on this thread, who also have concerns would like to inform the club of the issues?

No point just being ‘unhappy’, let the club know what you find unacceptable.
