    Just seen a tweet from our youth team, one tweet says a lad has gone and signed a 2 year deal with a championship club. Anyone any idea who it is?

    Not sure, but i think there were a few top clubs chasing Oliver Kirkpatrick a while ago, maybe it's him.

    I heard a while back that a few clubs were interested in Reece Staunton. It could be him.

    How many times down the years has this happened ? If all the players to have emerged through the club's youth had gone on to actually play for the club. We wouldn't be contemplating trips to Forest Green; Smallford and Stevenage just one more rotten season away from losing Football League status !

    Obviously have never watched your youth team but he turns out pretty decent in my Football Manager games. Not PL level but certainly a very good championship one. If the FM researchers see him at that level I can certainly see championship clubs own scouts thinking the same

    I've not a clue how it works at that age level really, was just curious as to who it was and where they've gone!

    Doubt very much he went for free unless we didn't want him, would have got some sort of compensation for him but with EPPP it's unlikely to be a lot. If it comes under EPPP then we'll only get 3k per year he was with us from U9-U11 and then 12.5k for every year after that up to U16 so at most we'll get 71.5k and then nothing more until he starts playing 1st team league matches or gets sold on.

    no guarantee those players would have developed in the same way at bradford city that they did at other clubs with better coaches, facilities and players.

    a fabian delph, tom cleverly, oli mcburnie who stayed at bcafc wouldn’t be the same player that developed the way they have due to leaving.

    No idea who the youngster could be but would have thought a likely destination to be udders or leeds. Would Luke O'Brien have learnt anything about our young ones?
