Parky had his detractors. But we grew from a shite team trying to stay in league2 to this in a couple of seasons.

 

You may need Parky back to get you out of league 2 next season. Don't burn your bridges.

 

Slight issue here mate...bradford is 45.9 miles away from bolton so there is problem in your rationale.

My 2nd point being he got you up then kept you against all odds with an hand behind his back.

He brought some of the best days the club has ever had in its history. Chelsea away, Sunderland at home, Reading at home, Arsenal at home, Villa at Home, Villa away, Wigan away, Swansea @ Wembley, Northampton @ Wembley.

I bet you any money in the world you wouldn't take those games/memories away. I love PP and I don't think we should ever go back for him, although there are probably worse candidates out there.

HA! 'a lucky league cup run' 'scraping into playoffs' in no way shape or form was the cup run lucky, it was down to hard work and togetherness - the players weren't that good technically, the players we have now are far superior, but my god dont we need a couple of characters like we had back then to give these lads a kick up the arse - players that Parky chose, for that reason. We didnt scrap into the playoffs, again it was belief and team spirit that got us there, after a slog of a season, they still managed to find results in the last few games, and then come through the playoff semis when we looked down and our against Burton. Then some very good football against Northampton.

Yes, his tactics were boring sometimes, but by god he got us winning games, something which we need right now!

 

Erm.....effoff!
