I’ve already experienced beating Wrexham once on their own patch this season, hopefully we can do it again

Its that government law isnt it that discriminates against football fans.

You can put a bar in the TL Dallas stand, because it cant be sold or consumed in view of the pitch.

Absolutely bonkers because if there was a rugby/cricket/horse race meeting straight after the match then it would be open season to take pints/bottles or whatever to your seat. Madness

Youre missing the point. There are probably only 3 games a season when a team would sell out more than the TLD stand holds. If you give them that we save on stewarding costs, and have full segregation.

Wouldn't take much to build a wall infront of the tea bar and make it a fan zone

Or on match days they could close the road behind TL Dallas, put up temporary fence / enclosure which could contain a mobile beer van.
I think Northampton have something similar

I think the point is to only give away fans the MR stand when demand is required.
No point the 50 Salford fans having 3 blocks of MR is there?

Hollywell Lane is partly closed off but if you close the whole street off the residents will be up in arms you only have part access down Cornwall Road.

Isn't that what we already do? We don't open the Bradford End due to cost as far as I'm aware.

I don’t know. Maybe something about applying for a safety cert on each occasion they want to open the TL Dallas, but if this was the default away section surely they could just apply for a season long certificate.

Or we could just leave the segregation as it is because just over 3000 is always going to be more than 10% of our capacity and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the current arrangements.

Quite why you'd think home fans would like to sit in the TL Dallas and give up 'premium' seats in the Midland Road is something I can't quite get my head around.

I went to Swindon on a Tuesday last year .... I'm not sure I've got enough interest to do that trip again.

I don't know the ins and outs but I trust the club makes the decisions it thinks are in the best interests of the club financially. I'll be honest I dont give it any time in the grand scheme of things as I think the club on this occasion have it under control.

It's worked for league games for many seasons, I'm not sure why it's even got folk thinking about it?

Get yourself to the the other 95% of available away games and next time you'll be in the 900 number happy that the effort and finance you've put in has helped you secure a ticket.

I don't think they would and I agree there is nothing wrong with the current set up. My suggestions were only in response to those that said we should give away teams the 2000 minimum allowed allocation and they are the only ways we could potentially make it happen.

I think someone was pissed off that we only got 1000 tickets for Wrexham and in some kind of retaliation wanted us to give the worst seats with lower allocation to away fans.
