Just interested to know from anyone who’s been jabbed - are you advised beforehand which vaccine you are getting? If you are, is this when you’re initially contacted or when you arrive at the surgery?

Further to that, I’ve just been reading in the BMJ about 23 deaths in Norway that occurred shortly after taking the Pfizer vaccine, these were either coincidence, or they were so weak they couldn’t cope with normally mild side effects.

Her indoors (a school nurse) had her 2nd Pfizer shot last week. A bit of arm soreness after each shot but nothing much. Despite my hatred of needles I now get the flu shot every year and will take the covid shot when it is rolled out for teachers. Normally I would be very reluctant due to the speed with which it made it to "market" and all the the very real concerns about the lack of time to fully appraise the possible effects.
Now for a political thing. The number of covid deniers, non-mask wearers who have taken the shots is amazing, but on the other side of the coin, we have some trying to protest at the site f public vaccinations! Weird place this. -
