I have probably done about 60 grounds, but have no desire to add the likes of Bromley, Boreham Wood and Gateshead to the list

Boreham Wood.... It sounds a ground where a Mr Bowyer may frequent?

This isn't the master plan we've been hoping for is it?

Absolutely not! We can and hopefully will progress out
of this basement league not make things worse before
They get better. The loss of revenue alone dropping out
of the EFL could finish us with our overheads.

It feels like our predicament has some deep seated cause
which implies a top to bottom clearance is required.

There’s only one way we should be looking to go and it isn’t down

More likely we'd just fade into obscurity and end up like Avenue. I doubt we'd be able to compete with the 'better run, more progressive' clubs in a league propped up by sugar daddies.

Cue the video montage of cobbled back streets and 'real yorkshire folk'. Exactly the kind of shite you'd expect if channel 4 did a feature on Bradford. #cityforall

That’s the craziest suggestion I have ever heard. Whatever division you are in , there is no benefit in relegation.

If we lost our league status I can only see a new housing estate where our hallowed turf used to be. Valley Parade Gardens or something in that vein.

Sounds a bit defeatist to me. If we went down it could take us years to get back in the FL. I've got confidence that Stuart will repair the damage, I believe we've got enough points this year to avoid relegation and if we don't make the playoffs which is looking doubtful now we will be able to kick on next year. Hopefully the pitch will get sorted as well.

A quick look at the national league table and there are 9 grounds there where I've watched City.
I suppose most of those clubs thought it couldn't happen to them too, but thinking it would be for the best is just madness.

At least then we’d be a really massive club. Even more massiver than we are now.

    it’s a yes from me.

The one redeeming feature of the suggestion is that it is an original idea ...

A completely bonkers idea but an original one! :)

If you're considering what it might be like to visit those grounds, don't worry - if we can stay in League Two long enough, many of those teams with hitherto unvisited grounds will pass us by on their way to League One before long.

I remember wondering what the purpose of clubs like Burton Albion, Accrington Stanley, Fleetwood Town, and (briefly) AFC Wimbledon was, but, as with sides like perennial non-league no hopers Newport County, Crawley Town, Forest Green and Salford City, each has been infinitely better run than Bradford City this past few years and will most likely go on to greater success.

We just can't compete against teams with stands like bus stations if they happen to have owners in possession of one of them bloody 'plans'...

Matlock is a lovely area of the world, i fondly remember the days when we played a team not far from there called the blades. Christ i'm not sure i have the enthusiasm for another season of league 2 shite.

Just a hint of a plan and a strategy and you'll be dancing your way out of league 2 in no time. That he likes of Salford and Forest Green look better run than us after just a season or two in league football is quite demoralising.
