I’m bemused how anyone can even name Gareth Whalley anywhere near a worst XI.
He was instrumental in our promotion to the PL and could argue he was better than Stuart technically. 600k he cost us from Crewe and it was money well spent

 

I’ve been watching City since the mid 60s and some of the players people have chosen are nowhere near as bad as some that have played in the past. Keepers for instance like Bill Punton, Robert Zabica, Butler and Knowles from 66, these make Sattelmier seem like Gordon Banks. Some from the Docherty era like Darren Morgan a small midfielder and a defender called Gardener. Up front some of McCalls early signings like Thomas Harben and Nathan Joynes must make the squad. Full backs Dowson and Dow from the 90’s. Then look at wingers from early 70s like Turbitt and Joyce and my team would lose to any team that someone else picks. Especially a team with Whalley and O’Brien in it.

 

I think applying name by nature has got OP confused.
