Office today and for the rest of the week but home when the need arises.

I have a freedom of balance to be in or out of the office as I wish.

Lasted 2 weeks working from home, it was a bloody nightmare!! Grass got cut 3 times in one week....
Opened up the office for me and and another guy, with others working from home. Now have 70% of staff working back in the office - it’s actually working quite well.

Both my daughters are working from home, one loves it the other prefers to be in an office environment, yet when working normally they drive to work via the M62 that in itself is stressful, especially the drive home past IKEA etc.

My wife can't do the drive past IKEA as she drive to it! I hate that place. Full of pretentious people pretending they need a new kitchen and come out with some pot plants and a small stool.

Me neither. 6 months now working from home. I've been into the studio just 4 times during those months.

I've just done 2 ridiculous weeks of working a shift though, as they got their first positive in the offices. Despite the fact I'm at home in my own little bubble, they didn't want to upset those in the office who had to work shifts, so I had to do the ssme. Working till 9pm with 2 young kids was a nightmare, luckily back to normal day hours as of Monday.

so depending on tax level worth between £0-£3 per week. Those on 20% band would be £1.20 a week

so your tax code changes by different amount depending on your current coding?

I thought it was like the allowance for laundering your uniform in certain jobs. Mine gives me an allowance of £60 which changes my tax code by 60. The back dated payment for 5 years was £60, £12 a year at 20% tax rate
