So heres the bet £10 says when the season starts Bradford City do not state/comment that 70+ year old fans can't attend games at Valley Parade easy money mate are we on ?

To be honest I'm coming round to the idea of sacking City this season !. As much as I have a great loyalty to Stuart I have zero loyalty to this group of players and I cannot be bothered with the dancing around for a ticket or commiting to a someones idea of how I must watch live football ?. Ifollow is useless because of lousy internet so thats out. So I probably will consign 20/21 to the bin.

Only cavet I would have is that my seat remains my seat for when things go back to normal which is the least they could do. Happy to let Stuart crack on with it and if it works out great; if not then I wont be losing sleep. My back up plan will be to go watch Steeton AFC down at Marley for live football. Then reconnect for Sky Sports Football to watch Leeds premership campaign. Think thats a whole lot more appealing that pfaffing around with argubly the worst Bradford City team in my lifetime and Covid restrictions and daft arrangements.

Sadly you have jumped on a very minor part of the report/guide which in true EFL working has no regard to costs which Clubs will incur and which most Clubs, including some at Championship level will struggle to afford unless there is financial assistance. Believe me, it's not just about cleaning toilets, the list of does and don'ts is endless, the recruitment of additional COVID trained staff, PPE for staff, no finance generating hospitality or concourse catering, endless cleaning of all 24,000 seats, strict instructions as to how to deal with matchday ticket sales, no matchday programmes, on and on and on. All of that in addition to the 50 odd page guide on training regimes.
As you know I was invited to leave the Board by Rahic but am still an Associate however I don't speak for the Club as I don't have all the knowledge, but looking at this document as I have, I would estimate a cost of over £100k to get matches back on. Think that's quite a bit more than cleaning the toilets, eh Fordy.

 

That sounds grim, i'm afraid a lot of folk will be put off by such a grey matchday experience not withstanding what might be going on on the pitch...

Seriously, though yes you are correct I have jump on the very minor part of things and I fully understand it's going to cost clubs a hell of a lot of money to get fans back which is why i am saying INCREASE SEASON TICKET PRICES and Bradford City need to stop with this BRADFORD IS POOR is rubbish. Many fans on here will pay £200 pus for a season ticket. We need to cover the 100k to get matches on.

If we are going to run at a loss to get 5k fans in then no point. The with the way this extremely poor government is running the country and covid can you trust them to not just do local lockdowns last minute(look at how they just added Spain to the quarantine list over night) which will cost the club an automatic loss.

Oh and Rahic is an idiot mate(then again he must have signed a confidential agreement which makes me think what has Rupp something to hide because we haven't heard from Rachic at all. Rupp needs to step up or step out). I would love if you were on the board still. Bradford City need someone like you on the board. I would make serious changes to that board starting with kicking your mate Rhodes off.

 

Not sure Jack will be attending again at Valley Parade, he sits several rows behind us and I didnt see him at more than a handful of home games last season, I hear his a poorly man.

 

The restrictions will create a match day experience worse than Odsal in 1986.
It’ll be grim with not much hope of any quality on the pitch either.
I get most enjoyment from away games and that can’t happen next season.

 

I would think some teams will allow away fans if it is financially worth it
