    I
I think you need to get a copy of the 85 page EFL manual on what needs to happen for start up then rethink your comments.
Too much guessing on here, leave it to the Club.

So you expect me to do a summary of 85 pages Fordy?, life's too short.
Sadly you have jumped on a very minor part of the report/guide which in true EFL working has no regard to costs which Clubs will incur and which most Clubs, including some at Championship level will struggle to afford unless there is financial assistance. Believe me, it's not just about cleaning toilets, the list of does and don'ts is endless, the recruitment of additional COVID trained staff, PPE for staff, no finance generating hospitality or concourse catering, endless cleaning of all 24,000 seats, strict instructions as to how to deal with matchday ticket sales, no matchday programmes, on and on and on. All of that in addition to the 50 odd page guide on training regimes.
As you know I was invited to leave the Board by Rahic but am still an Associate however I don't speak for the Club as I don't have all the knowledge, but looking at this document as I have, I would estimate a cost of over £100k to get matches back on. Think that's quite a bit more than cleaning the toilets, eh Fordy.

I would imagine clubs are hating this. There cost to put on a match don’t change that much just because there are fewer people attending and actually the virus may even cause costs to go up as they will need more match day staff. So the same or greater costs but significantly less income coming in. I wouldn’t be surprised if they would prefer an empty stadium to one that’s between 17% and 33% full

I have learned more from Grimsby's chairman on the current position of the potential effects of Covid 19 on lower league clubs than I have from anybody connected with our club. Thanks Mr Day

Apparently the obese, diabetics and the elderly will be asked to stay away so there will only be about 2000 City fans able to go.

Failing that, I would adopt a no 'lounge pants' policy to shred the herd.

That sounds grim, i'm afraid a lot of folk will be put off by such a grey matchday experience not withstanding what might be going on on the pitch...

Attached is a statement from Grimsby's Chairman which throws more light of some of the issues facing clubs.

I would think flexi's will be knocked on the head,at least for next season. With the uncertainty of being guaranteed admission,I don't think season ticket sales will be anything like some people are expecting, and a capacity of 8000 might be enough.

Without being able to attend footy for nearly 7 months when they can return, I think there will be a bit of a rush for tickets. As bad as we are. It’s much better in person

Yes in fact they were... Ryanair is having a fire sale and hotels are offering huge discounts to get folk to travel

Putting prices up now will only piss folk off that are struggling for work due to covid

I believe there will not be hospitality for a time how long that is no one knows at the moment, so you can take your step 2 out.
I think any business trying to play the ageism card will get a few legal challenges, is ageism any less serious than racism ?

You couldn’t just have Halifax, it would have to be all of Calderdale.

What about those down in Cleckheaton, which is in Kirklees?

BD postcodes include places such as Horton in Ribblesdale and Settle nearly 40 miles from Bradford.

Not saying it is ‘straight forward’ at all.

No doubt an edited "cut and paste" from Ryan will be forthcoming later this week.

Just sell match day tickets only. First come first served. Not got one quick enough? Tough try next home game

Just refund them people who have brought already.

    Increase the prices

Make it season ticket sales only and start again.

    Not sure..

No away fans seems boring to me.

Then it can't be buy on the day because fans will need to be tracked. It has to season ticket sales only.

Also, no loud music and not sure songs will be allowed to chatted.

Fan masks will have to be worn.

It won't be just come in act normal.
