In less than 72 hours we thankfully have another opportunity against a team in the bottom 10 in the league. With our following 2 games being against sides currently occupying the top 8, it is imperative we avoid defeat on Tuesday or we could be in serious trouble.

No doubt Jimmy Hanson will be out to prove a point if he plays, although if that's one of their main attacking threats we ought to be somewhat confident going into the game.

Would probably take a draw given recent results, at least then we are unbeaten in 3 in all competitions and have some sort of momentum to build on (clutching, I know).

On a side note, hats off to those making the journey on a Tuesday night. I know a few with train tickets which were booked before they realised what a mess we were in! Hopefully the lads give you something to cheer about.

Proper relegation six pointer, a win could be big for our League One hopes.

Making the trip and genuinely looking forward to the journey, as by my reckoning it will be the 81st football club I have attended. Plus a few ales to boot...

Am I looking forward to the football on offer? Truthfully no simply because the football is a chore at the moment. But it's my club, not that of 'those' in charge whom own the club and no matter, I will attend to support my club.

Hopefully, at least a point and a performance with effort, commitment and a bit of fecking desire would be nice.

Not going to sleep tonight now.

44 points sounds huge. I make it we've only managed 23 from our last 33 games.

We're on target for between 30-31 points from a full equivalent 46 game season, but DON'T WORRY.

Once our other (crap) injured players are back, we'll have even more (crap) players to choose from, and everything will magically solve itself.

Plus, if we rely on needing a penalty to have a hope of getting a point (or maybe something more...), one day we'll get one and that too will magically solve our issues. We might end up with 32 points! Who knows.

Really do think we need a targetman look at Rotherham last season same as us then signed smith and got promoted in the end some of the crosses going in are crying out for a big lad

Surely Steve Davies worth a punt for a few months? Big, horrible, knows where the net is.

Thank God yesterday is over !
But I'm now bracing myself as we face the mighty Wombles.
IF we can only struggle to Draw to an equally poor Bristol side at HOME, then I have zero confidence about the Wimbledon game AWAY. I can't see a City goal, let alone a Win !
    Reluctantly, but being honest ........... AFCW 1 - 0 City. :(

We have a target man Kai only trouble like nearly all our players simply not good enough and a massive massive down grade on the last couple of seasons Our club is only just starting to suffer the "new system" Very shortly we will have to wait for the 16 year old academy (do we even still have one) lad to beef up a bit and see if he is good enough if not look for another whilst the first team offer zero goal threat. That supposed million we got for CW will pale into insignificance if we don't find a striker to keep us out of L2

Based on what we’ve seen in the first 10 matches, our only realistic hope of staying in this league is to:

    - Pick up the odd point here and there. Wimbledon is one of those games where we have to pick up something.

    - Have a very successful January transfer window. Send all the loanees back who haven’t been up to scratch, free up the wage bill by getting rid of those who are not good enough and let Hopkin bring his own guys in to give us half a season under his control.

I would have Steve Davies. At our level bottom half of league 1 he would do a job.

This is the James Hanson who was unfortunatly the main reason Bury got a point at Valley Parade last season (winning the header that Miller equilised from) which meant McCall needed to win at Oldham or he was gone according to Edin, not the best of memories for many City fans .
I believe he's injured so hopefully he will not have any say in any points we bring back from London or not.

Unfortunatly we know how Neal Ardley sets his sides up big physical lads, we are not the best at handling aerial balls so anything from this game is a bonus for me.

Another depressing defeat on the cards.
2-0 to the Wombles I reckon
