Will we relegate Wimbledon

Be nice to get them back from them relegating us from the championship/old division 1

 

I'd just like a decent performance and 3 points it won't be just us who have sent Wimbledon down, the other 45 games contributed to the position there in, and I still haven't forgiven James Hanson for making the two goals for Bury that made Stuarts position irretrievable ,and that bloody George Miller for his extra time equaliser.

The players need to show some professionalism and try, but I couldn’t care less if we relegate them or not.

 

Relegation would get Hanson to a league a couple of divisions above where his talent deserves to be so yes. We should try send them down.

Something about that club that I don’t like. Quite possibly their fans - always seem up their own arse. Y’know, that typical small club mentality. They remind me of Morecambe. Insignificant but annoying.

Strangely I’m the opposite. I like the compact ground and communal atmosphere at the bar before the game. Plus it’s incredibly local for me. Since I like them and what they have achieved since Christmas, for them I’d like them to stay up. Selfishly I’d like to see them come down so it’s another game I can make next season.

All that said, i really don’t give a rats ass either way and would just like to see the back of this wretched season.

Hanson snared 7 A levels while he was injured.

 

I think goals scored are a more relevant attribute than A levels to assess a striker's efficacy.

 

If Southend dont beat Sunderland, wimbledon will be probably safe no matter what happens at VP.

 

I think what you're saying is that I can't criticise a striker until I've scored more goals in professional football than them?

Didn’t like the old version and don’t care for the new version. Take a look at what they did to Kingstonian FC. Screwed them out of their ground making them come very close to folding. They still might. How quickly they forget what it’s like to have your club ripped from its home. But it’s Wimbledon so they get a free pass. City 2-1.

Of course you can criticise a player, the forum wouldn't exist without us being able to do this.

I'm just pointing out that he has scored plenty of goals in the lower leagues and made a decent career. He has scored goals and been part of side that has given themselves a very strong chance of escaping relegation. Not sure he can be pushed below conference level yet.

Not the most talented footballer, but he gave his all for this club and scored vital goals. He has my respect.
