Is this turning into the official anti-Bradford City and anti-Rahic Forum ?

Everyday there seems to be 2 or 3 threads having a dig at something or another, it's non stop.

Because it's not really about how many season tickets we've sold but just another dig at the owners.

 

I think this should be extended to how many pies are sold at each match. In fact, why not a live blog updating when each is sold?

I'm not after an exact figure. If the club sold 15,143 season tickets but told us they'd sold just over 15k after the main deadline then that will do. How many did they sell inbetween their last update and the cheap ticket expiry date? A few hundred? A couple of thousand? You could probably work it out by looking at the match day figures and doing a bit of maths but you wouldn't have a clue if you went solely on what the club had told you. That consitutes as a lack of transparency.

It's information regarding debts of league 1 clubs and we were the only club in this division not to provide such infrimation. We failed to give information on something which every other league 1 club was willing to provide. It's not so much that I'm desperate to know our current financial status but it's very telling when you put it into context. It doesn't exactly help Rahic/Rupp when you consider they've talked about honestly and bette comunication with the fans.

If you need ask the club for such information, then they aren't being transparent enough. That's his point.

 

As a rule people have to earn trust and respect. Lessons learned and a no sense apology are never going to be enough for those of us who have doubts. It’s just basic rules of life. It’s not just trust in one area, it’s trust in anything. I don’t trust Rahic. I really hope he has learnt lessons and does put things right but until I see actions, not words, I worry for our club under his tenure.

 

This brings back terrible memories of GCSE Maths... If John goes for a pie 5 minutes before half time, what is the probability he will miss the first goal of the second half?

 

i really feel for those that wake in a morning and their first thought is, “how can i dig out the club and the owners today?”

 

Totally get that Rod. Think the supporters club(s) need to get involved more to try seek out more communication which would help break down some barriers. I doubt Rahic knows about certain queries/issues supporters have, I don't see tickets being an issue at all but obviously to some it is. If this is pointed out then they can do something about.

 

I don't remember any previous seasons where we've not been told the final season ticket total, so it's a perfectly valid question. Don't see the problem myself?

 

There seems to be quite a few Rahicists around, lately.

 

I'm not too sure about giving an exact number, but we usually had a pretty good idea. The Bradford City Twitter account for example used to provide us with regular updates and keep us in the know on the amount of season tickets sold. That article was written a whole month before prices took a spike and we've not heard a murmur since. How many did we sell since their last update? 500? 1,000? 2000? It's anyone's guess.

 

@Bigrod ; If you go on the bbc sport website and check our fixture against charlton, the figure reported is 15,709,

now i very much doubt charlton brought 700 fans so the approx figure should be over 15,000 but plenty of them are suffering buyers remorse(me me me) .
