@wetherbywhaler , hi Roger. I agree there have been worse times on the pitch. However, the past owners were local businessmen, generally restricted due to their limited means, but had an active interest in affairs and made themselves available to the fans.

In addtion, we had managers who generally attempted to connect with the fans and displayed some degree of humility.

So, the fare on the pitch may have been worse at times, but this disconnect has never been greater. Even in the Rahic era, the fans could associate with Stuart who, at least showed some passion for the club and fans.

Bang on @King Cole, no other owner in my lifetime has had the financial clout that Rupp has he could use to turn our club around, I get that he's not a football man and its not a prerequisite to know the in's and out's of football to own a football club but I'd say it certainly helps to understand its very different to other businesses, fans are far more than paying customers.

Your Rahic comment made me smile, even though fans were being told what Rahic was doing to our club many didn't believe it and still backed him, funny old game as they say.

 

Not via ifollow as that would give money to the club. Might be hard to wrap your brain around but not attending means I'm not giving the club money via the kiosks, and I contribute one more empty seat that happen to be growing in numbers.

Manchester United don’t want Everton to know how their team will setup for the upcoming FA youth cup game ( I can understand this) and have said that no supporters including family can attend tonight’s game . That being the case not going out to sit in a cold Valley Parade, will watch from home on I follow.

I think there are much more pressing issues at Bradford City than the players kneeling down for five seconds before the game starts. I think the rolling over we tend to do for the subsequent 90 minutes is a much greater concern.
