Wonder how different it will be to the poll at start of season

 

10th, plenty of good and shit performances to come.

 

Can’t see us scoring enough goals to make play offs

 

I think we need four or five first team ready players to be serious about challenging for promotion. Giving us options off the bench and to cover for the (seemingly) inevitable injuries.

That is just wishful thinking I suspect, so I'm going for 8-12th. We are consistently short of the quality on the pitch and from the dugout right now to sustain a promotion challenge.

 

12th ish. Don't see much of an improvement on last season, certainly not up front. As Adams said, we have very few goalscorers in the team, this is what will hold us back. Next to no options up front, very little in midfield. Special mentions to Cooke, who can't finish his breakfast, Vernam who is capable in converting what seems like 1 in every 15 opportunities, Watt who seems to have regressed this season. Its all on Cook who's constantly isolated. Yet another big January on the horizon. If we finish any higher than mid table with this lot I'll eat my hat

 

Any team looking at promotion as a realistic aim would be putting games like yesterday to bed in the first 45 minutes. The fact we were hanging on for a draw by the end is a good indicator of where we currently are. I've gone 8th tn 12th.

 

Some of the play yesterday was a joy to watch. We need to be in and around the playoffs with the current squad, then bring in 2 forwards and 2 scoring midfielders in January to push on. I really can't see Robinson or Lavery being here after January. If they can't get on the pitch yesterday when Cook was knackered, then they've no chance when the replacements are here in a few months time. Adams has zero confidence in them and for their own careers sake they have to move on.

Not seen enough yet to convince me that we can get promoted.

Thr January transfer window will be really crucial as to how we finish the season.

 

The victories we’ve had this season have been against clubs at the bottom so any talk of a promotion push is wide of the mark. All depends on January for me, need some fools to take the likes of Lavery, Kelleher and Robinson off our hands and Rupp to spend some money.
Those last five words mean it’s bottom half finish for me, but only just, something like 13-15th.

You can’t compare a squad with the likes of Campbell, McCall, Jackson and Hendrie in it, and with two internationals in Yorath and Cherry around with the squad of day. There’s not one of today’s lot fit to lace the boots of the 84/85 team.

 

Amazing this. I remember @Sergio Pinto III really giving it out to me when I said we will finish about 8th. He was like who are the 8 best teams than us blah blah.

The bottom line is the club is a mess. Off the field effects on the field. The quality of the squad isn’t good enough. We have a owner that’s utter sh@te and players that can’t handle the pressure of playing in front of a big crowd.

All this was clear before the season started but some want to carry on kidding themselves and acting like a teenager that can’t face up to their problems.

Season is far from over. Jan will make us really.

whilst on paper the transfers looked good, weve had 2 first teamers out since GW2/3 which isn't good enough. If Angol does come back we will crack on again.
