Lee Novak - key player for Stuart at Scunny
Glenn Middleton - from Rangers and the Scottish National system
Kurtis Guthrie - obviously wank but Staurt loves him

Is there a common theme there? Hell of a coincidence don't you think.

I also remember Bowyer saying that he had no idea about at least one of those signings but it may have been on the radio rather than in print.

 

Not sure about that, bowyer states here;

City manager Gary Bowyer added: “We are delighted to have further strengthened our squad with the addition of Kurtis.

“He provides a real presence and natural goal-scoring ability up front - and adds great value to what we already have.

That doesn't sound like a manager who just got given a player.

If you give s Damn and things aren’t going as planned then surely you would be busting a gut to make amends. Guthries body language and lack of effort is startling.

 

He won't because he brought him and because hes a poor manager he can't admit his mistakes.

I'm not sure what people thought Bowyer would say? 'I welcome Kurtis to the club but he's nothing to do with me'?
That signing summed up the whole ethos of the club, last minute panic buy with no real thought to it after the woeful handling of the Vaughan situation. Then a week or so later we sack the manager who allegedly brought him in. Absolute comedy gold.

 

I only hope McCall had his IPad charging all night, ready to check the free transfer market today..
