When will McCall give up on Guthrie

Its a subconscious move by SM to show all young kids that anyone can be a professional footballer.

He is hopeless, ive given him grief plenty of time however he must of had something at some point, he got into double figures somehow twice at this level.

Those 2 years at colchester and stevenage how was he played, who/what was he partnered with. We are lumbered with him now so may aswell utilise him properly. Sticking him wide left is doing him or us no favours

That doesn't sound like a manager who just got given a player.

Lee Novak - key player for Stuart at Scunny
Glenn Middleton - from Rangers and the Scottish National system
Kurtis Guthrie - obviously wank but Staurt loves him

Is there a common theme there? Hell of a coincidence don't you think.

I also remember Bowyer saying that he had no idea about at least one of those signings but it may have been on the radio rather than in print.

That signing summed up the whole ethos of the club, last minute panic buy with no real thought to it after the woeful handling of the Vaughan situation. Then a week or so later we sack the manager who allegedly brought him in. Absolute comedy gold.
