I'm being serious, sometimes being embarrassed in front of a lot of people is hard to get over

 

Anybody see Bowyers Interview after the match, Jesus, I hope he is more animated in the dressing room.

 

Hang on Dave. You state that “we knew they would cause us problems”, but then later admit you knew very little about the XI they chose to play? Which is it mate? Did you know anything about their players or not and certainly enough to know they would cause us problems?

Fact is we have a poor squad and still have no idea what our best formation and players are. Yet instead of working on this in a competitive game, he throws the likes of French and Doyle to the wolves.

He’s getting a lot of stick and calls for him to walk are growing. I have no sympathy when I see those kind of decisions being made

Not sure I get your point mate. I know Bowyer wasn’t happy with his team on Tuesday (let’s see who he leaves out on Saturday).

But you said “we knew they would cause us problems” and then followed that up with a statement that you didn’t know any of their reserves. Or are you saying Bowyer said that they would cause us problems?

And if so, he was right. But then playing a centre-back at right-back, continuing to play the likes of Devine and Anderson and sticking Doyle up top on his own, we caused ourselves as many problems as their 2nd choice team managed

 

If you've listened to the interview Bowyers says “we knew they would cause us problems” , I said I looked at the squad and didn't recognise any of the team only to hear it was a different 11 to Saturday.
The rest is something you'll have to take up with Bowyer with regards player selection.

 

He always seems to come across like a doctor delivering a terminal illness diagnosis.

 

Clarke, Potts, stockley, barkhuizen etc.

Regardless of changes it was a strong eleven.

 

Just listened to the manager's press conference and for the first time there was no mention of BLACKPOOL!

 

He didn’t need to..... we had borrowed their kit instead

 

You’re clearly a more knowledgeable fan than the majority then. Most of us won’t have ever heard of Tom Barkhuizen, Brad Potts & Jayden Stockley

And yet when names were being bandied around of players we could look at on loan, your knowledge was deathly silent?

 

None of the Preston lads who played against us would come on loan to league two. They are first teamers who will play there part over a 46 game season.

 

I believe he played the likes of Paudie .Scannell, Akpan to give them game time, maybe the likes of Anderson, Devine and Wood to show what they could do,
I'm not sure Anderson is 100% fit yet, Devine hardly kicked a ball in anger last season neither did Wood so maybe selected to see what they offered.
I'm not writing Bowyer off far to early, I'm sure he will have players lined up for midfield ad now we may be saving money on Doyles wages (which I don't think is a wise move) lose either of the front two and we have no experience/back up to bring in.
Who'd be a manager some fans more than happy to judge him after three games.

The manager is putting pressure on himself by making stupid decisions, looking inept and lack of tactical & in game management.

It's a result business and make no mistake about it tomorrow's game is massive for him.

He is failing at the club and needs to start showing he is capable of doing the job here. We need winning runs. We need wins!

 

A season. Behave!. I never mentioned a season before we judge Bowyer.

I agree we need to start winning and getting results (I'm also sure Bowyer recognises that) can't agree he's failing the club, 3 points on Saturday would be great but it's not a disaster if we don't get all three.

 

Bowyer left Blackpool just after the transfer window closed this time last year didn't he?. A repeat anyone?
