What do you think the crowd actually was tonight?

Probably about 7,000ish

 

Felt about a quarter full to me, so I'll guess around 4,500

The attendance -- in terms of numbers -- was like the team: sustainably mediocre. The latter seems perfectly capable of remaining at that level for the foreseeable...the former may well stay there too. Alas.

Gave me a chuckle at least.

 

Maybe it's the start of things to come!

Mid table. The season has been written off by many. Increasingly number of fans are now questioning Sparks involvement and don't trust or believe a word that comes out of his mouth.
With nothing to play for other than safety this season, fans are voting with their feet. Just a thought.

 

In 38 years... How many promotions have we had..

 

I posted on another thread....6 promotions in my 50 years and 2 of those through the play off lottery having sneaked in the back door. Thats grim!!

 

I think it being a tuesday night ,and the terrible weather had a big impact with the numbers .

 

In 120 years how many promotions have we had?

 

I really think it was mainly the weather. Apart from a few die hards I don't think most people care who the CEO is and it probably wouldn't stop them attending. The weather and the fact it might be called off up until K/O would.

Results and how crap the football is will be a close second.

Dismal really isn't it. We are cursed

 

Dress it up all you want, people are getting pissed off. It wasn't even that bad last night, more windy than anything. The temperature was very mild, about 12-13 deg

 

So, now we resulting in doing things we shouldn’t be.

About 8k -9k people there last night.

 

The point is how has it got to the stage where 10000 fans simply can’t be bothered to attend an event they’ve paid for.
It’s a sign that the product on offer isn’t even worth peoples time even if it costs them nothing.

and it isn’t just last night either, barring a few, there has barely been 10000 inside the stadium for all the home games this season.
