Clever the way you did that, I'm impressed.

Just to give other posters some context about the scale of losses which are likely formost championship clubs, here's a graph of wages paid out in the Championship (excl transfer fees!) in the season before last....
Ours in Div 1 was somewhere in the region of £3mill!Attached Files:

This is why posters like @Bronco need to wake up.

One of them people that walks around Bradford City Centre City wondering how Leeds over took this city. You should work for the council as you're full of excuses for failure.
Mr Rupp is worth 150m. He brought a football club. Football is a loss making business. Owners are expected to dip their hands in their pockets to develop the club and to move it forward.
Please explain to me what Mr Rupp does for the club if he isn't willing to do this?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...BingleyBantam likes this. -

On the question of why did Rupp buy in the first place. This is just my opinion, but I think he was buying a rich man's toy. Something he has that his mates don't. As I say just my own thought with nothing to back it up.Bronco likes this. -

It’s a tricky one as we’ve no doubt gone backwards under Rupp so I can’t praise him, however last season we did have our biggest budget in years without player sales and cup runs. So for me money isn’t the issue under Rupp it’s who he trusted with the company credit card, and unfortunately it was a mad man who’s set us back years.
I don’t buy into that we’d still be top end League 1 if Lawn and Rhodes were still here though. That 15/16 season we were overstretched with loans and I think Parkinson would have left to Bolton regardless with their big budget and he’d realised that was his best opportunity at Championship football. If Lawn and Rhodes has been here for 16/17 we’d still have needed a new manger imo and it wouldn’t have been McCall if Lawn were still there. But I bet a party line of “we need to cut our cloth accordingly” would have come out as we’d not had a cup run in over a year and no player sales. We had to sell Wells only a year after getting to a cup final, so who knows what our budget would have been.
If there’s a stupidly rich person out there, who’ll chuck money at us and let footballing people call the shots, come this way please.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Tony Wilkinson likes this. -

I was a bit peeved when the only english footie on the telly this last weekend was Tranmere v Wycombe, galls me to see these 2 mediocre teams in a league above us, we must get out straight away this season whatever the cost...

It’s time he dug deeper than he currently is and get us to the championship where we can then attract bigger fish as far as investors are concerned.Fordy117 likes this. -

Stefan doesn't give a flying fck if we get to the Prem. This was his sidekicks dream. I get the impression Rupp doesn't even know or care what division we are currently in. The last piece of engagement we had from him was when he fired Rupp Rahic. Since then, nothing. Come January, we'll see how interested he is in propelling us up the leagues.

We're 3rd in the league with games in hand for Gods sake and Julian is very much a part of that team that has got us there but not an ounce if credit from Mr Negative..Bapta likes this. -
Right. You can't name one single person can you Fordy? Not one. As such it's all nonsensical gibberish, a fantasy. We can all live in a fantasy world, it's not that difficult and of course I would love a rich investor to pop along and start spending the dosh.
I've seen precious little sign of that happening. There lies the problem. Bradford City have never really been an attractive proposition for investment and we all know that buying a football club is incredibly risky.
Where's the evidence?Bronco likes this.
