I agree. I doubt that it's from today. We've had no more rain showers, plenty of sun. Many pavements are looking dry when they were distinctly wet an hour ago. The persistent puddle that's just over the road from my house is slowly but surely drying out. Just hope our pitch does the same!

Maybe staring at it for 6 hours has caused it to dry out

 

Watching paint dry is much better than watching puddles dry up .

 

Unlucky for the people that have to live there..but they're still a Championship club that can laugh in our face. Fair play!

Hey. I'm an expert on puddles. Been studying them for years. The one across from me is a grade 8 on the richter puddle scale. That means it's the the slowest draining puddle type found. A bit like our pitch.

 

Each to their own Idle but a surface like that just isn't fit. No craic to watch either.

Do you remember the FA Cup game against Wrexham 9th December 1970, there was lying snow but they played with a different coloured ball (yellow/orange) and painted the lines blue ?, the snow started not long after the game started and at half time the lines had to be swept so the officials could see them, we ran out 7 - 1 winners that day I believe Bobby Ham got a hat trick, we can only dream about those strikers we had back then :

Unlike @Onside who I find one of the best posters on here,I am not sure what you bring to the table but as you are a Bradford fan I won't hammer you too much.

So, since you clearly haven't played the game or been involved in it in any way then please understand that ever game has a pitch inspection. Clubs also have people like Paul(Head Of Operations) and ground staff. (Paula and the ground staff are doing a great job at Bradford City). Paula would of been in communication with Plymouth all week about the pitch and weather etc. We are also not in 1950(unless you are) and we have weather apps that tell us all what the weather is mainly going to be like(not 100% but neither is condom protection)

If the game was in serious doubt the Plymouth wouldn't have travelled yesterday.

The inspection at 10-30am was to just double check things as Plymouth is miles away and the one at 1pm is standard like @wetherbywhaler said and anyone that knows the game knows.

So, what's boring is people bashing on about the weather every bloody week.., it's BORING!

Bradford City do great getting matches on.. have faith!
