What’s it like in Bradford this morning

We really need to stop with threads. The game is on..

 

It’s an absolute joke not one person answering any calls at City regarding if the game is in doubt/ pitch inspections etc, why can’t someone at city just put a statement out like ref will inspect at a given time even horse racing up and down the country inform everyone involved so why is it so difficult for city to let fans know particularly to the ones that need to travel some distance.

 

100% it's better to hear from the club but it clear the club don't want to talk about the weather.

I fault the club for many things and yes the pitch isn't the best but we hardly have matches called off.

It's winter, its going to rain, it's going to snow but we have good ground staff that will do everthing to get the game on and have manged to for all season.

How many games have we had called off due to the weather at VP over the last 5 years? Not many!

Spot on. Here I am sat on the settee checking for updates. 2 kids waiting to go and me wondering how long to leave it. Usually leave around 10am for a home game but 11am is doable. Having had home game vs Southend and MK Dons called off late on in recent years when just arriving in Bradford it’s soul destroying and a waste of 240 mile round trip

 

They say it's going ahead but it's just to confirm.

They is always a pitch inspection before a game.

I'll be shocked if it's called off.

 

That is very poor by the club for the reasons given above many fans travelling from distance as well as the Plymouth fans, but it not looking bad up here in Wibsey bright at the moment and no rain.

Well raining cats and dogs in East Yorkshire and gale force winds just started! Fortunately I don't have to set off until about 12.00, but weather updates from Bradford welcome. Latest Met office prediction for Bradford is heavy rain at present, but then clear and sunny(!) until 5.00. Winds gusting to about 40 mph.

 

Mate, before each game the ref inspects the pitch.

The club shouldn't have said anything at this point because the game will be on.

Now they're just confusing people.
