    I have thawed out from Saturday , never ever been has cold in my life than the game , even Carlisle away a few yaars ago . I left my seat at HT A block lower kop i stood for a while hovering in / out missed the last goal . Didn't start to get warmed out till i had nearly reached Penrith , worth it though .

    I managed to last til the 1 min added time just before half time then headed off for a coffee (main stand), proud of my resilience sticking it out for so long. In front of me in the queue was a rotund bearded bloke with a cold Carlsberg and wearing shorts! I must be soft.

    Now that the vegetables have been moved elsewhere, I've changed the thread title to reflect what the (remaining) discussion was about. So as not to confuse anyone attending future matches, I've made it specific to last Saturday's match.

    Should the weather threaten any future matches, new threads can be started if required.
