OK, maybe not quite make or break time - Yet ....... but well on the way.

I want to see Hopkin to show his credentials as a BCAFC worthy Manager.
In our current guise, based upon very recent form - City are DOWN !!

I would ask any suffering being - 'How much do you really want to survive' ?
If you value your future, then now is a great time to start - And show it.

I'm going for a 0 - 1 City Win, built on a professional and solid platform.

Walsall are dire ......... But City are not far behind.

    Think we will win.

    Fleetwood, Plymouth and Walsall

If we lose on Saturday then 1 out of 9 from them 3 games with 2 being at home is unacceptable and the pressure will be on Hopkin.

We need to win on Saturday

I agree. If we can't beat Walsall ........... when we really need to ......... What the Hell are our chances of picking up more than a couple of points in March ? :(

Think that’s the big thing, “winning when we need to”. On reflection and the form Plymouth were in, a point wasn’t terrible. However Walsall will be going into this also “needing” to get something. Let’s see who’s got the bigger balls.

A Kyle Reid esq stunner from a few seasons ago will be most welcome!

I agree Chris, we need to be adventurous against teams like Walsall, pick an attacking starting 11 and go for it, although our form is not great I believe Walsall's even worse, anything but 3 points and the pressure will start to ramp up on the team and David Hopkin.

You put the pressure on Hopkin before he’d left Livingston!

Every game is must win as far as you’re concerned and that’s before the season had kicked off.

We’ve got to try and scrape over the line to survive.

Results from tonights League 1 games will probably illustrate just how important Saturday will be.
We are nearing the time when we can't rely on other teams doing City any favours .......... Sometimes, you've got to help yourself. I am not questioning any players belief here - Just their commitment.
City are not too good to down, so we need to show we are good enough to stay up.

It's a big game on Saturday that's for sure.

This team must win, a draw is simply not good enough.

    Walsall 2 - 3 Bradford city.

I've just had another peek at those tables, Dave .............
Walsall have by far lost the most in that - Yet have the better GD !!

............. Here's hoping City can keep a clean sheet, but score ourselves. :)

Agree. We’re in danger of repeating ourselves saying “a draw wasn’t a bad result because ...........”, I did it myself after Saturdays game. Where it might be true, we are fast running out of time when draws are simply not enough.

After this Saturday I honestly believe anything more than a point from the following three games is a bonus, and I worry if that will even be enough. We don’t seem to be taking matters into our own hands and almost like the reality isn’t setting in. All the talk of the atmosphere and quality on the training pitch and not being something you would expect from a team in the bottom 4 is all well and good when results are being produced. This Saturday they really need to put all the talk into action. I’m not one for “must win” comments, but actually this Saturday is IMO.

Make it 1 from 12 because let's be honest we're getting nothing at Portsmouth bar a swift kick up the jacksy.

A small point of optimism ....................
So 'all things are equal' ............... Citys last six Away games are thus ...........

    D, L, W, L, D, D. scoring 8 fore and conceding just 9 ........ So 6 points and just -1 GD. :)
Unfortunately - City have failed to score in any of their last 3 games. :(

Saturday is a must win. There are no excuses, not one. Walsall are the worst team in the division form wise, 3 points from the last eight games and are one of the best bets to go down. None of this rubbish about a well earned point against a decent league 1 side, i want to see us come away from this game with three points and a performance that shows we are up for the relegation fight. Anything else is unacceptable.

Accepting we can’t take huge confidence into any game at the moment, if ever there’s a time to play Portsmouth it’s around now - they’ve not won in their last 6.

What a huge game (get the feeling we'll be saying that a lot in the next few weeks/months!). Walsall are dropping like a stone and we need to compound that. Winning on Saturday which would hopefully take us out the relegation zone could be a huge boost going into a tough run of fixtures.

Hopkin set us up positively on Saturday and we just couldn't find the goal we needed. He has to go positive again and get at Walsall from the off because they will be feeling the pressure.

I wouldn't usually say its a must win but it really feels like a win in this one would give us the platform to survive, lose and I'm not sure we'd recover.

I think Miller could be a good option to start. He's different to the rest and even if he runs up blind alleys all afternoon he might take some defenders with him and leave space for the rest.

I thought that was Payne's job ;), we keep hearing opposition managers put 2/3 players on our playmaker so he is nullified, can anyone tell me if that is the case why aren't we utilising the space that is left when three players mark Payne ?.

I agree. However that was the plan against Fleetwood and look how that turned out?

Well, let's hope they get back to winning ways tonight because the last thing we need is Bristol Rovers winning, especially with Rochdale playing Wimbledon and Oxford playing Accrington. The whole "we can be out of the relegation zone with one win" story could evaporate fairly quickly.
