Just need to look at who started the thread to decide how much credence to give this "rumour".

 

Bradford Council & Rugby League can feck off. The last thing we need are this bloody inept excuse for a council poking their noses in to our business

 

Nonsense. If Naz Shah or her labour cronies on the council were interested in purchasing Valley Parade, it wouldn't be for sport

 

The council can do one for me. They had no interest in helping us when the shit hit the fan with the administrations, although they creamed themselves when the city had a premier league football team. They have pumped money into Odsal stadium for
decades and thus supported the bulls . Had pie in the sky pipe dreams for redevelopment for the past 70 years , all on somebody else's money. If Bradford council get their hands on VP , it will be ruined in 12 months.

 

The amount mine and everyone's else's council tax has go up to this coming year I don't want any council money (my money) spending on a privately run business.

 

We all know this isn’t happening,right?

 

The council are looking at ways to "make it disappear" so they don't have to maintain it as a listed building. I'm sure there are one or two professional arsonists round here they could employ.

 

They do not need much parking on their current attendances 3004 for a Yorkshire derby last weekend and that includes the free children's season tickets. One of my employees takes both of his daughters for nothing, one has told him she much prefers football after they got tickets to the Colchester game.

Rugby League has been irrelevant for far too long for anything like this to materialise.

 

If it could be done right with money spent on the pitch and surrounding areas then it could be a good thing with the lease winding down.
But it’s probably just another non starter.
A successful Rugby club in Bradford would thrive and a joint ownership could be a big help financially

 

Absolutely. Bradford Council have proved time & again they cannot organise a piss up in a brewery, we would be no better off and would suffer in the long term

There is very little that can be achieved at the old Bradford end, as previous plans have proved

Unbelievably the council spent £600,000 on their levelling up bids which included a ridiculous proposal for 50 million on Odsal stadium. The usual artists impression of a covered super dome were in the T&A. The bids were turned down by the government so another waste of money from our council.

 

No worries, they'll all be able to share a taxi from odsal these days.
