I think it's Anthony O'connor on that photo in the background. Infact it definately is the yellow boots are the same in a other photo with him in it. It's not Connolly.

 

I think it was Cooke he was suggesting is Connolly. They do look similar tbf

No, parker is taking the piss because he was constantly asked about Colville the last two summers.

 

I would argue that 2nd in the Scottish league, particularly in the rears where Rangers were in the lower leagues, is not a management recommendation and ultimately in his last season with Motherwell as they were second from bottom he left.

Are you seeing a trend here because I am. He gets some early wins, gets found out, and the club falls, he leaves or is fired.

Please point me to something that shows I am wrong because everything I see seems to suggest I am right.

This response is a cop out (and you know it) as the data simply does not support your faith in him as a manager. You are blinded by his time as a player.

This club and a large section of it's supporters lack ambition and McCalls appointment for a third try as manager is the perfect example of that.

To be fair some were posting admin could be a consequence of Rahic fiasco, others poo pooed it and quoted the clubs books.

 

I am at a loss at what he did that was so groundbreaking? We paid more money for Payne in January, we signed Butterfield on loan on good money and added Clarke I think too?

how did he balance the books? Or did he just say to Rupp we need x amount of cash to fill the void?

 

I believe as with Grayson the club were still sitting in a position where a play off place was possible and Stuart was brought in to try and get better results (new manager bounce) Julian knew he would be available immediately, do the club go through advertising for a new manager and the time consuming that can take or take a chance on McCall again.
I believe it was as simple as that, maybe the club could have brought him in on a Warnock type of deal get us up and heres ££££ and then advertise for a new man but I'd suggest that would not have gone downt to well with the majority of fans.

 

Absolutely nothing to do with his playing career and you know it. Myself and many others have mentioned all about his managerial career and you’re just not listening.
