    People want Rhodes out.

Clearly the sheepdog is trying to big up Rhodes and make out he's a hero.

His first stint with us was hardly inspiring but I believe both Juilan & Mark thought Stuart was the right candidate as the majority of fans did at the time it was a gamble rookie manager first time in the job.
We know that period was difficult he made mistakes which he openly admitted to and walked from his position of manager, that in itself took some balls, Mr Bradford City admitting he'd failed.
I don't think his second spell could be judged as a failure, quite the opposite IMO, anyone bar the mad German would have given him more time after all during his time at Valley Parade the second time we were rarely out of the top 4.
This time Stuart has to produce no matter what excuses may be offered by fans.

Julian also wants out, it was never intended to be beyond a temporary position, he had his replacement lined up but that candidate went elsewhere.

Rhodes wants out as well. Which part of that is confusing you?

Bradford city football club, like the city itself , has lacked investment , internally and externally for decades.
The football club is today, as it has been for at least fifty year. a lower league team. the one i started watching in the 70s, which has had brief flirtations with some kind of success.
The only difference is that we play in front of larger crowds , due to the cheap ticket offers and we play in a far better stadium, The later being a costly adventure , costing in the region of £9000 per week to use.
The key board posters on here who blame happy clappers or the current owners/ management for our plight, should all club together and boy the club and true'ly drive us forward. Own the stadium , new training ground, pay off the debts.
It will only take about £20 million.
Or we can accept where we are at this present time, until that sugar daddy arrives, (don't hold your breath)
this club can only move forward in small steps if any at all. Just enjoy the ride and hope we find that bit of squad magic.
Don't forget 23 other clubs are trying to achieve the same thing as us and all from the same starting point, when the efl get there way with salary caps etc.

    A very constructive comment.
You may not like Julian Rhodes, i am not overly keen, and i think he and his partners at the time, should not have taken the dividends out of the club that they did , during the premiership days, but i don't see how you can have such vitriol for the man, who is running the cub to the best of his ability after the mess left by Rahic and is trying to find a suitable replacement.
Has he crossed you in some way in the past

No, left him behind years ago..

He plods.. same old, same old. Plodders get left behind hence why Bradford City go nowhere under him and guess what? We gone backwards.

Sooner we get a new CEO.. the sooner this club can get some direction

A vacant plot of land could easily become a huge mansion, all it would take is 20 million.

A hunk of metal could easily become a small private jet. All it would take is 20 million.

You're right, the expectations around people coming in and transforming the club are ludicrous - and it wouldn't stop.

Some clubs are sinkholes. We're not going to be, at least not right now. That's okay. We don't have to rinse some rich guy to enjoy football, and those who believe that we do are not ambitious... They're fantasists.

The majority of clubs move forwards and backwards , its the nature of professional football .
Only those clubs with super wealthy backers , progress and sustain it , at great cost to there bank accounts, we cant all have chairpersons like Salford.
Accept where we are at this present time, back the club, if not the owner or ceo, they will not be around forever, they never are, but the fans will be , as long as the club is there to support.
A new owner or ceo , could be better or could be worse, its a fact of life.

Salford could easily top out in League One, or flirt briefly with the Championship.

There is nothing to suggest (yet) that the investment will ever reach PL levels.

Not sure that's exactly what we wanted, I believe most wanted investors who could take us that step further than Julian & Mark could offer and without doubt Stefan could.
Even during Stuart's second spell we were going well until the Yeovil game around the time of the Rahic/Hendrie fiasco, that was when the players IMO didnt support Stuart, I could understand their stance but ultimately it cost McCall his job and they have to be held partly responsible.
Very much in our case it was a case of "better the devil you know".

And that's possibly why we brought him to Valley Parade, not sure it was worse there may have been a lack of money and any sort of plans going forward but I'm not sure Karl got involved with the day to day running of the football side of things as Rahic "I know football" did, maybe you know more ?.

Bronco. Spot on summary. But it still stinks of a lack of ambition and currying favour with the supporters. Clubs and business done generally progress with nice guys at the helm. You need hard nosed business/football people.

Spot on. McCall is fragile. It doesn't take much to push him off the hill. Which is very surprising. As a player he was the polar opposite. But football is littered with great players who are poor managers.
