    Never heard of Tshimanga so unable to say. Obviously heard of Henderson and seen plenty of him to suggest that he would do the business for us for a year. I was very surprised to see Rochdale release him to be honest

    I think Vaughan will be gone regardless of what McCall says. I bet captain admin has already told McCall city can't afford Vaughan. Imo.

    There's the problem Park
    Good strikers even at our level are as rare as rocking horse sh1t and to sign one for what we would get for Vaughan would be virtually impossible
    Whatever happens I believe Vaughan will not be at the club next season and haven't since he was sent out on loan last season
    Surely the club must have considered this and have an adequate replacement waiting in the wings !!!
    A season with Novak, Donaldson (sorry !!!) and Guthrie as our front three isn't worth contemplating
    Time will tell

    on the forum McCall said the 14 we were left with made the squad very unbalanced. 4 number 9s he said so vaughan could go and another type of striker bright in. One with some pace?

    Was very impressed with him last Saturday in the play off semi final
    Interesting to see how he plays on Sunday
    Donaldson scored 1 goal in 30 for Bolton and we still signed him !!!

    Donaldson's hold up play was average at best. Glorified because the rest of his game was utter pants. Nowhere near the level of hold up play Stead offered.

    Part of me agrees with Park here, i thought our best form under Bowyer coincided with Donaldson as the target man. Held the ball up and has the knack of winning free kicks upfield taking the pressure off defenders. By god his finishing was bad though.
