The club will be restricted by the player budget limit that is reduced in Div 2 from Div 1- so it will make things tighter. However, I would have thought that any relegated club would be allowed some flexibility in their first season after relegation to allow them to make the required adjustments for any subsequent div 2 seasons.

 

Agree with that. We will probably see a couple of loans coming in nearer to the start of the big kick off next month.

 

Bloody well hope we can offload at least one of the other wage thiefs from last season to allow a bit more movement before the big kick off. Riley would be ideal, O'Connor would be even better. If the latter goes we'd need more cover at centre half but we definitely need more quality out left and the centre of the park.

Butterfield's days of commanding high wages have gone I'd think, wouldnt be suprised to see him join. A Ricky Holmes on the left would bring experience and quality, the lad from Rotherham Matty Palmer sounds promising in the middle of the park if @Steeton is correct. It's getting interesting now as weve definitely got the nucleus of a good side

You might be getting your wish as niether Akpan or Riley were training today.
I never saw Corville or Reeves but was told there are some trainees joining training this afternoon.
Both O'Connell and Doyle were there.

How long do they usually train for? How close can you get to where they train - I have never been.

Just posting niether were there today you could be correct.

 

If they are on the near pitch there is a fence around the pitch, today they split into 2 groups of 8 and then played 8 v 8 on a reduced pitch so they were pretty near.
I believe they finish around 12/12:30 and have another session in the afternoon, as one of the coaches said there will be some trailists with them this afternoon.
