    Shay has a contract given to him by the wonderfully idiotic pairing of Rahic/Abbo. Payne is out of contract in a few days and at that point will be on less than McCartan.

    Unless you know what either player is on, I suggest you stop guessing and making a fool of yourself...!

    Third rate keeper playing in a higher division than us? Only Bowyer dropped him and rightly so. His form had dropped and he needed taking out for a few games. It happens to all players.

    Sorry that is just wrong, it isn't even up for debate. He was one of our better players earlier in the season, he had to be with the most useless defence ever seen at VP in front of him. His form did drop in the second half of the season, quite understandable in the circumstances. Deserves a chance of playing in this new set up with Bowyer at the helm. You'll see a different O'Donnell next season if he stays.

    It’s opinions he was average and he was part of the reason we had such a poor defence to much posturing and to little concentration. We will see but if Hornby is half decent he will get the shirt next season

    Your opinion is wrong. Just like Ricc's opinion is wrong. Both entitled to it. I was at pretty much every game first half of the season. Never once did i hear the fans deride O'Donnell, the opposite really. You are right about his second half of the season, i agree with that. But there isn't a goalie in league 1 who wouldn't have suffered with that back in front of him.

    Not that I could find.

    The problem with wages is the ones that often get spread around at all clubs are the base wage + estimations of bonuses they may earn (plus at the higher level image rights, at your level I doubt image rights are that much of an issue). For example lets say Doyle signed for you based on the fact that as a club that can get 15k+ to a game and has one of the highest budgets has a good chance of going up so signs a deal with a bonus for promotion. If you assume that City will then go up then that bonus will often be split by 52 and then added to the weekly wage. Bonuses could with ease add thousands that are being quoted but if they underperform then they will never make that much

    Sorry to break the drama with Transfer Rumour stuff.....

    Hopefully this means the Vaughan 'done deal' rumour is correct. We're also in talks with a Left Winger who'd be a great addition - but that's far from a done deal and he's in demand.

    Left Winger and Centre Mid next, I reckon.

    Do you think Bowyer will go for another midfielder? Already re-signed Devine and Anderson, with confidence that Colville will join too. Add those to the likes of Akpan and Reeves and possibly McCartan.
