    I personally think that any instances of offers that represent 300-400% profit, where they’re confident they can secure a replacement for half (or less) of the few being received - those offers will nearly always be accepted.

    Don't go along with that. If Sharp was coming, there would be absolutely no need for him to insist on being first choice and even with our new found funds, I think he is outside our budget.

    A lot will be down to how much we are offered and how much is left on that player's contract and, no, it won't be easy to find a balance.

    And I don't want us to sell our best players, especially if we are challenging for promotion, but let's not pre-empt what Edin may or may not do. Today seems like a good bit of business, in a close season that has, in the main, been a positive one transfer wise.

    There are good reasons to be optimistic, going into this season. Let's not worry too much about decisions that have not yet been made.

    With a bit of luck we may sell out, never doubt the loyalty of Bradford City fans, if we can get 1,500 at Shrewsbury that will be a great effort.

    I don't think it'll happen. But.....

    Imagine he signed and the club announced an ST offer.... a reduced price back to whatever the last 'offer' was....

    Shift 1000 at a couple of hundred quid and it'd pay a huge chunk of his wages. I think that signing, on the back of what we've done this summer, and some clever PR could tempt a lot back....

    Depends how successful you want to be.

    Most successful clubs hand onto their best players. They might sell strategically but it's certainly not the norm and if they do sell its not to a club who can effect their chances domestically.

    Let's be fair Charlie could have wound his contract down and gone for nowt in a year.

    City had to sell now or take a gamble on January and other clubs were sniffing around our best player.
