I don't really understand why he didn't sign the deal offered yet, but I guess we'll find out.

Liked Colin Doyle, good luck wherever you end up. You won't struggle to get a club; anyone willing to play two games in 48 hours flying between countries AND performing well will be sought after.

Shame we didn't get our quid back, mind.

 

We've released three, but yeah, I think Sykes-Kenworthy will be our third.

Jesus Christ, we better have improved our scouting in that particular area. Imagine being lumbered with someone as bad as Sattelmaier or that other wotsit for a full season...

Hope they've come up with something good if they've let Doyle go. What happened to his contract offer? Sounds very poor from the club.

Go a different route? I’m guessing a younger and cheaper option that they can try and get a profit out of.

Doyle leaving has really pissed me off. Letting an experienced professional who cares about the club leave is so so poor. Especially when we're struggling for characters as it is.

That could end up being the worst decision this close season. I know he wasnt Peter Shilton but at this level for the money I think we will struggle to get better.

 

And how we missed him when the two joker reserve keepers took his place.

 

And telling him whilst he was on holiday? Disgrace

 

It's not really a drama, players come and go all the time.

We just have a bunch of fans who like to whine like babies at very decision.

 

And if they told him after they had signed his replacement, that would be a disgrace too.

Wonder if Dieng has been told the same thing given he has stalled over signing a new contract too.

 

The club offered him a deal at the end of the season so either he knocked it back hoping for a better deal or he didn’t reply by the deadline and it expired. Not sure how that is the clubs fault
