Must admit I've gone from doom n gloom to an optimist over the last 2 weeks with some great signings ''on paper'" still have doubts over Collins but have come round to the idea of new young manager rather than the old merry go round. Hopefully we can get off to a great start at Shrews.

Good shout and he was probably the least talented player in the squad. What he lacked in technical ability, he more than made up in character and his reading of the game.

 

Did you read the comments? People getting annoyed that there team wasn't mentioned or was predicted to do poor. It was like that article sign sealed and delivered their fate

 

The good thing about this season is the fact we haven't been labelled one of the favourites ,and the expectation levels aren't putting us under pressure from the off. I still think we will bring in another striker and attacking midfielder probably on loan which will give us plenty of options to mix it up and change formation. I think we will do a lot better than some think and Michael Collins will surprise a few. Collins seems to have the technical ability to be a good manager but not the experience ,and this is where Abbotts got to step up and give him the support and advice if he thinks things aren't working on or off the pitch. I'm really looking forward to this season and think the recruitment as been top notch and can't wait to see the likes of Doyle, Scannell, Payne, Seedorf and Akpan stamp their authority on the game.

Not a happy clapper but telling those that are concerned to pipe down? As I said, you prefer nobody to raise their concerns so you can claim they only speak in hindsight

 

Who have I told to pipe down exactly? I had a perfectly reasonable discussion with Tawheed about something we disagreed about. You are the one accusing me of being a happy clapper and of telling people to pipe down, neither of which are true.

Wow this makes for interesting reading now to look back on. Never thought we'd be bottom with under 10 games to go.

 

He is a winger, we dont currently do wingers in this team this year.
Who needs width anyway.
