The one certain thing is if the fans desert the club like a few say they are going to it will die. At moments like this and when coup de grace occurs think of how good days like Wolves away Liverpool in the premier and defeating Chelsea on the own ground they were so special because of all the crap we had endured before.
If fans stick with it we will have good days again maybe not so many for the likes of me but for the younger supporters it doesn’t matter a fig who own us it is our club get yer tickets bought

Unbelievable comments from some people Dave, the idea that we could lose thousands of paying fans and that will be in some way more positive is laughable at best. We could realistically have league games next season where the crowds will be well below 10,000 rattling around Valley Parade, down from double that a couple of years ago. make no mistake this club is deep in the shit next season, it could take years to get back up.

If fans were party to any plans the club may have then yes they could have confidence to re new their season tickets
The silence is deafening from the club as to its future intentions (maybe there aren't any) even down to the new manager having to go solo at his introductory press conference no one there to publicly welcome him to the club how bad did that look
We need leadership from the top someone to kick a few backsides on and off the pitch and make known to the fans that people in high places really do care for the club
Don't blame the fans for deserting the club when the players obviously couldn't care less How many on that coach coming home tonight are reliant on Bradford City for a living next season no wonder we are in such deep trouble

Can't stomach the idea of league two next season. Not going to bother with a season ticket for the first time in 30 years. Pulse on about the ref but we were crap again today, our manager leaves out our best players we have no shots on target, we are a shocking side.

Since we've been in the lower divisions for most of the time I've supported City dropping into League 2 should be disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. What really hurts is that we'd made so much progress on and off the pitch and were in touching distance of the promised land of the Championship. Then it's been destroyed in no time by two foreigners who had no understanding of either our history or the English game in general. Soon they will both be gone, to lick their wounds and shrug off the loss of their reckless investment without it affecting them too much. It affects us, though, and will do for a long time to come. That's what really hurts.

Unless Ive missed it. Still heard nothing from Rupp or Rhodes since Hopkin walked
There seems to be no long term direction from anybody at the club

What the hell is happening to the club we all love

That’s a fact if fans don’t buy tickets in sufficient numbers we won’t be able to operate. I am not “Chastising “ them. But I do encourage as many as possible to stick with “our club”

If it was up to the likes of Park and Silver we'd still be giving Edin a chance to put things right. I think they call it continually backing the wrong horse.

To which I have said within this post. Communication from Rhodes and Rupp is absolutely imperative.

The silence is as worrying as our teams performance. At a time of real potential decline in sales, our leaders/owners are demonstrating a really poor hand.

This is more concerning to me than our inevitable impending relegation. The club is in serious decline. A succession of managers have tried and failed over the past 18 months and things continue to go from bad to worse. I have seen some really grim times in my 45 years as a fan, but this season has reached a whole new low for me.
I really fear for our future. Make no mistake - the players we have currently contracted for next season will not be competitive in league 2.

The fans are the long term future of the club and the club are doing nothing to attract fans from the next generation The club we love has gone now been trashed by people who had no interest other than to change everything and as proved not for the better.
Go and watch the passion/effort displayed by your local non league team and tell me one performance this season where our players have matched that
We need to rebuild and whether that is a step too far or not remains to be seen

I thought that in 2007 but I took six years to get out and in two of those seasons we nearly went in the other direction.

I watched Harrogate today, no great shakes, no players that stood out to me, the talent was in Maidenhead's team, tiny midfield too. But a team that went into every challenge like their life depended on it. Bob's yet uncle, 6th in the League.

I was a little surprised when Gary Bowyer was sat alone at the press conference new man into the club and no support from people at the top even Paula Watson would have given the guy a little support.

I'm sorry if this looks like another Stefan bashing post but even I'm sure Rahic didn't think things he was doing/introducing were bad for the club.
The new owners got very lucky Stuart was left the backbone of a very useful squad and added more quality to that squad even taking Mark Marshall into being the player of the year with his performances, he took us to Wembley where our owners must have thought this football game is piss easy.
That was the time when Rahic wanted rid of Stuart, Stefan should have looked more closely as to why rather than taking Rahic's side which ultimately lead to or demise, the more I talk to people near the club the more I see what Stefan possibly took Rahic at his word, I just wish fans/employees of the club could have got to Stefan sooner and told him of the damage both internally and externally Rahic was doing.
Yes I'll be buying two season tickets for the coming season more out of loyalty to the club I have invested 60+ years of my life supporting,at the moment I can't offer another reason, we go again :p.

Where is the evidence that fans not purchasing season tickets will send the club into administration?

How exactly do you come to conclusion?

If we go into administration, if I said, the apathetic approach that people like YOU during Edins tenure, will have more of a factor in administration, than a few rats deserting the sinking ship. Your words, not mine.

This is exactly the issue! Listen, I’m 37yrs and like to consider myself young at heart. I mostly travel to away games alone, aside of London games where mates may join. I’ll happily sit and be as loud as possible to cheer and encourage the team, whatever the situation. Even yesterday when there wasn’t a great deal to cheer I thought in the second half a good % did what they could to encourage our flagging side. However what happened at the end with some of our supporters wrestling with stewards trying to get to Oxford fans or onto the pitch, was embarrassing.
(NOTE: not helped by the idiot Oxford youngest ball boy running past our fans celebrating and antagonising them).

But it’s not just the younger supporters and you only have to read social media pages to get a glimpse of the mindset of some of our “supporters”. It’s not the Bradford City I’ve grown up following and wonder where it has come from? There was a women sat behind me yesterday who berated Anderson from the 1st minute. Justified perhaps, he was poor yesterday. But she was relentless and confronting as when Clarke made a mistake she shouted “come on Billy, you know better than that”. Why was Clarke spared her wrath? His past or his public admiration for the club? I’m sick of hearing crap like this at games. The lady sat next to me rightly commented to me “I don’t know why people spend the time and money travelling to simply berate and single out players”. Couldn’t agree more.

Furthermore on Anderson, the confrontation he had after the game by those at the front was disappointing. He had a stinker, he quite clearly recognised that but had the balls to come over and applaud fans who travelled. Why he had to be aggressively shouted at to the point which made him come closer just isn’t called for IMO. All done by those off their heads and seemingly little interest actually “supporting” the club.

    Rant over!

Bought my season ticket today .
Promotion back to league 1 next season
    It's gonna be a good year .
My fave ever season was in league so it can be fun down there.

Real possibility of playing my home team Harrogate in a league match next season. Never thought I'd see that .
