I wrote this season off weeks ago think we are nailed on to finish midtable ......... until Adams has at least 2 windows to sort these cowards out then we are gonna sadly finish around midtable

My expectations have already changed since the start of the season, I believe we’ll have the odd good game but more poor. A bit similar to Parkys first season in 11/12 but hopefully not as close to the drop. Adams hasn’t set the world alight but sacking manager after manager recently should have taught everyone a lesson, especially if you look back to that 11/12 season it showed even Parky isn’t a miracle worker. The place needs gutting, a lot of these players have already seen 3 or more managers and but for brief spells flattered to deceive.
Unfortunately the biggest problem is still those at the top, whether it’s false promises to sell season tickets or accountant style running of the club it constantly feels like the club is in chains. Every business has to take risks even if relatively small ones or it won’t grow, that’s what we have seen over the years. Austerity.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... The blinkers need to come off for some fans and understand that whilst we languish in league 2, Valley Parade is simply not affordable for us.
Nothing we can do for the next 7 years but if we are still in the basement when the lease needs renewing then we really should leave. Before anyone asks the obvious question of where we’d play, the answer is I don’t know and don’t care so long as we do not commit to a long term lease we cannot afford whilst trying to assemble a competitive playing squad.pns1945 likes this. -
Sadly when you see childish errors made game after game, you would think any of us on here capable of getting the message across. Training and coaching isn't addressing the issues we see weekly out there on the pitch and regardless of who is in control, that is my main concern.

Maybe the right/wrong thread but I think it relates to expectations.
We're are being run by an owner who's current financial commitment to BCAFC amounts to Operational costs and not much beyond. Its prob time we get to grips with that and stop imagining some "Sugar Daddy" scenario, or what would be an amazing January window, If only he would throw some of his millions our way.
His initial investment tanked, his partner was an actual fraud and he's stuck with Bradford City under his name as a CO.
Please sell and please someone buy. Barring luck we are gonna be in league two for another decade.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Fools Gold likes this. -

My expectations were/are that we tread water in mid table, playing not very good football with a lack of quality in key areas whilst complaining that we can't compete with other clubs at this and National League level because we 'won't risk the future of the club'.
Christ, do I need to lower my expectations even further than that?!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Scunthorpe is a six pointer. If we cant beat a struggling side like that its going to make December a very long month. The board have brought in new recruitment staff to work with Adams so its very unlikely they’d contemplate firing anyone before Jan. But if we don’t win at least two of the next three he will have lost the fans and that’s not a place we want to be.

The biggest mistake we made as a club was trying to avoid liquidation 20 years ago. I firmly believe if we’d have folded and started again we’d probably be better off.
Let’s see where Bury are in 10 years. I bet they’re above us in the league. -
