I’ve kept a positive mind all season but accept today that’s it.

Today stunk of a largely populated squad, peiced together of relatively talented individuals, but who largely couldn’t care less where this club finishes the season.

At 1-0 up against 10 men all it needed was some leadership and game management. What we saw was an absolute clueless and heartless display. A team that had no idea of how to win this game.

Since every one of the opposition figured out our one dimensional play via Payne, neither out management or players have managed to figure out what is needed to win a game.

At 1-0 today we looked poor. Had the ball, controlled play but looked poor and clueless.

We have no leader on the pitch and no one to take the scruff of a game by the neck and be that person to drive the team forward. We haven’t had it all season and it’s a big reason of what will take us down.

Same. Positive and thought we would slowly climb the table. Without going on a storming run I thought we had enough about us to slowly climb

However today has set us back weeks I feel. Not just the defeat but the manner of it and the fact it’s meant we will spend yet more weeks in the bottom four

We are down. Tough 3 games to come and can’t see us getting more than a point from any of them

I just feel totally deflated, I cannot believe we literally through this game away. 0-1 all we had to do was pass the ball and run them around, and take our chances when they came. We didn’t do that, and we just allowed them back in. No leadership something we have been missing all season. No game management. I know it is still possible but after that, I honestly don’t think we can now.

We now face league 2 indebted and players who we can’t get rid of.

And a manager we should get rid of, Pointless expecting leadership on the pitch when there is none off it,

Well in any event we can’t afford to recruit a new manager, and who the hell would come anyway.

After 12 minutes I thought we have all the aces and I started to relax but it's not the thing to do as we flatter to deceive.Their top scorer gets sent off and with the shocking run they are (were) on,I thought this vital game is ours for the taking....but no, they raise you up as high as they can then destroy you with absolute capitulation. Dreadful, awful, what a way to deter season ticket sales!

Do you really think so @trevor@trevor ? I’m not saying you’re wrong, not for me to do so, but i don’t agree.

I concede Hopkin could have made better subs today. Furthermore I question the managements ability to find alternative tactics to win games. However i do believe they’re working with a largely narrow squad in terms of options.

I’m really interested to see what team Hopkin plays next week at Pompy. He said in his interview that he will make changes. Based on today, aside of O’Donnell who’s a nailed on starter, only Butterfield, and maybe Caddis, showed anything worth of an ok performance.

Yes I do, It is not just today, It is always next week will be better but it never improves and the games are running out, It is a squad capable of much more and should not be in this position and only Hopkin is to blame for that

I've said for most of the season O'Connor is no captain.

I knew that one of Hopkin's worst mistakes was to make or keep O'Connor as captain.

He is one of the worst captains I have seen at Bradford City Football Club!!!

    Awful!

I agree he’s no captain. For me it would be Caddis or O’Donnell.

You often see Gold where others see Iron Pyrites!

Not knocking your commitment ‘one iota’.

I felt you were overly optimistic for weeks.

However to now see what you now say, makes for a very pessimistic outcome to the season seem likely.

I still think there is a chance, as a lot of clubs are in the ‘lower table’ mess, however a defeat like today is potentially of a seismic level!

    Next 3/4 are tough games.

I thought if we won yesterday the boost that would give the whole side. Being out of the relegation zone. That would give us that lift and then we could climb clear.

However we’ve let a poor side pull themselves out of it a bit and they will now have some momentum

Even a win yesterday would not have lifted us out of the bottom 4.

1 point from the last 3 games, when some overly optimistic fans were expecting 7 points, has sealed our fate now sadly in my opinion

The fighting in the dressing room needs to take place on the pitch!! There will be no hiding place at VP, they will be faced with angry fans who are looking for some guts and a willingness to lay it online and fight for our league 1 status. No free ride, no just giving our support, earn it!!

December apart he’s not shown any improvement really. Recruitment was dreadful, Paudie and Woods were absolutely pointless, motivation and tactics poor, substitutions poor. If we get relegated, when we get relegated, we’re another bad season from non league and the end of the club as we know it. We can not afford to start next season badly and have yet another poor transfer window and pre season. For that reason Hopkin needs to go, he’s shown nothing to give me faith in him.

As for making changes next week? Bollocks, there is nobody to bring in and Gok Wan will still be failing to stop crosses at left back.

Half our fans would clap the players off if they had lost 6-0 to a nine man Solihull Moors. They’re grateful they have a club to support. It’s this acceptance of mediocrity that gives the players the free ride.

I understand, but the players need to understand that goodwill is in short supply, it is down to them to demonstrate some professional pride and play for this club with guts and determination to not be beat, they cannot expect the fans to support them until they demonstrate their willingness to not only rise to their own professional standards and skills but also to work as a team and cover for their teams mates, work till they drop, no heads dropping, if it goes against us just a redoubling their efforts. I would play the Wallsall game to them, and get them to watch the away side if they don’t know what it means!
