If he wants to pump in 2-3 million + over the next couple of years he can. If when he came in he was worth £100 million. He'll be gaining 10% minimum year on year. I'd say 100 million is his backstop anything he spends will be profit from that. If he's now worth 120 million 2-3 million a year is not a problem for him.

He'll have a financial advisor. Probably part of a well established, successful firm. They will offer very bespoke and careful financial products, such the like you or I will not be offered because of the wealth he has. He will probably have a designated fund manager who will move and invest and divest his funds (it will be software overseen by a very experienced, very clever and very well paid man in Frankfurt I'd guess). His funds will move and grow where the profit is as the markets change in line with his financial risk profile. This sort of package basically means his funds will be quite well protected from losses and in this manner earning 10-15% is a pretty regular occurrence.
Basically just having money makes you more money, having the size of fortune Stefan has will mean if he is sensible he can easily live off interest for the rest of his life and still enjoy his projects and hobbies.
Unfortunately for the rest of us, this principle is basically why the rich get richer and the poor stay poor and why the gap between haves and have nots in Britain and elsewhere only gets bigger.

 

I get the jists of what you're saying Mr Chapter, however there's lots of perhaps, probably and if's in your posts explaining this 10% capital gain per annum.
