I don’t think for a moment Stefan is here long term, pump a few quid in, keep the club in league 1 if possible and avoid losing too much on his original investment. Instruct Rhodes and a bank to find buyers for the club with Rhodes given first refusal. That’s my guess. Rupp has no interest in football and no known connection to England or Bradford.

 

We spent it on booze, hookers and cocaine. Not very nice hookers - but we like to think it helped.

When you look through the profanity and light hearted jest, TCA was spawned by the faction of supporters who became tired of the mindset of the faction who refused to countenance anything that resembled critique.

It started with Hanson - clearly spent and clearly limited in what he could offer. And time has proven the view that he had to go, completely correct. Did nothing at Sheff United and has done nothing since.

It then moved on to how the club was being run. The TCA lot were the first to call Rahic out for what he is, whilst the majority on here couldn't see beyond their nose and demanded 'evidence'.

The next mission of TCA will be to cleanse the masses of the ridiculous notion that 'being happy just to have a club to support' is somehow noble - its a somewhat pathetic notion that very much obstructs our path to something better. You'll all be welcome once the enlightening is completed.

 

I agree, I suspect Mr Rupp will look to sell as soon as the time is deemed most suitable
Without going into the well documented reasons why we find ourselves in this position.
Since this immediate fallout from Rahic's departure , I do believe Rupp has to receive a degree of commendation for his commitment to BCFC.
When Rhodes was dealing with Rupp, I imagine it was paramount that the boat wasn't rocked, therefore ground the fly-by.
Certainly whilst we're desperate for Rupp to commit a significant amount of funds for January.
The fear may well have been that a man worth 100miliion with no interest in Football whatsoever, may have thought I'll stick this English far-away club into Admin, grab what I can, to be heard of never again.
Leaving a league two club, without a pot to pee in for sale for a quid.

 

I'm sure he'd appreciate his name being spelt correctly too...

That’s funny because I thought it was a handful of individuals, @JonButterfield especially, who organised the fly by, 64 who paid for it and then @City-since-67 who saved the world and some mystery investors. But if the whole forum wants to take credit, go for it.

 

For me I don’t think it is important to try and identify what made the difference to Rupp eventually seeing the light. I think fans on all forms social media had an impact. That would also include the TCA, I visit and post on that site now and again. If you ignore the profanity, which I do, there is considerable depth of analysis and incisive conclusions. At times it feels like you have interrupted a boys night out, but it is exceptionally funny, and nearly always makes me laugh. I have advised them on more than one occasion not to disrespect the very useful female anatomy.

As far as the flyby goes, it mattered!! You will just have to take my word for that.

The rumours that Stefan is going to put a million in, is a wish from Julian. However, in Stefan statement it was quite clear he will continue to support this club, and will take the necessary steps to make sure DH has what he needs to bring in players that will keep us in this division. It may well be million or more who knows, but I doubt it will be announced.

 

But that's all they did (keep banging on) It was BT who actually did something about it.

Agree he was obviously taken in by Edin and his false claims and was originally just the silent partner, the good thing now is Julian is running things so at least he knows the club non football wise is in safe hands.
As he's had his fingers burnt I'm sure he's made the correct decision in bringing Julian in to run the club but I think he will try and sell as soon as we are stable, or if he stays as just an investor he has got to be made aware of what future funds may be required to challenge for a Championship push and the funding a Championship club if a promotion is achieved.
I've a feeling he will be making himself more knowledgeable with regards the cost of running a successful football club.
