Oh come on. It's one thing getting the hand sanitiser out and making sure everyones got a mask on, quite another making the big decisions. He's got every big call wrong so far. Don't forget even Boris has had praise in some quarters on his handling of the COVID crisis but I don't think his prospects are particularly bright.

Think you misunderstand. There was a lot more than you suggest, finance, fixtures, it was a long list. My comment relates to his standing with the EFL, a lot more involved than masks, etc.

Agree with many RS has made some rookie mistakes and definitely could do with a football brain helping him out. The many on here calling for his sacking I think is a bit harsh, he's a young guy learning the ropes so in reality was always going to make a few inexperienced errors, the main mistake was the decision made from above him to leave him to it on his own and effectively hanging him out to dry. He no doubt has some qualities which we can make good use of on the whole and in the long run could become an asset to the club as gains experience.

What is the ultimate goal for Forest green. Championship. Nailsworth has a population of 5800, if a quarter attend matches, that's less than 1500 home supporters, it will need vast amounts of funding , other than ticket sales.
I think its just one big ego trip for the veggie burger munching chairman. If he gets bored of his toy, they will be right up the shitter. What is the capacity for his new wooden stadium. Its all about him and his image. All veggie products in the ground, turning up at other clubs directors lounge in jeans and then banning suits at his in retaliation. The man is an arse.

Zero chance someone doesn't swoop for a football club like that.

They already have big bucks investors, including footballers, because they stand for something.

So do Salford and they are still swimming in the shit pool.
You mean his green agenda. Vast amounts of that are all bluster. An electric car has initially a bigger co2 footprint than a normal one, because of the work needed to produce the batteries. Granted it does equal out and then start to have an advantage after a few years though.

    How is it bluster?

Salford are a team with no identity other than 'old Man Utd players'.

FGR are readying for an entire new build stadium dedicated 100 percent to their eco causes. Everything they do is geared to be clean.

What do Salford do that's comparable in any way? They have money, that's literally it. They don't stand for anything.

The whole green industry is not as clean as it appears. We are the windiest country in northern europe, yet we could never produce enough power from this source and the cost and enviromental damage been done by wind farms is enormous
(birds and fishing, sea bed damage). Hydro electric . not enough sites and the cost and co2 footprint is again great.
Visit the power station in the mountain in Wales. A fantastic achievement but extremely expensive and only works as a surge power station, so switched on when the need is greatest.
Yes we need to sort the planet for future generations, but what we are doing is pissing in the wind , because other countries doing far greater damage , and they will never come to agreement as they are still fully dependent on fossil fuels.

    It's a slight tangent.

What I'm saying is, there will be no shortage of buyers for FGR in the future.

I think I misinterpreted your point about Salford, actually, but I agree that they also will be easy to buy out unless all the Man Utd money just leaves in one go - then they're in trouble, because they stand for nowt, offer nowt in terms of profit, and other than wearing red, they're not up to owt either.

Hector Bellerin is an investor in FGR, he had nothing to do with the club - but what they stand for, the idealism, that's valuable and will keep them afloat no problem.

People mock them, but they've made themselves far more saleable than clubs like us and Salford.

Its a toy for the owner used as a propoganda excercise. I’m more than happy to play my part with an electric car etc etc etc, but I draw the line at forcing it down peoples throats. Some could say that’s what he’s doing?

Got every big call wrong? Where were we when he took over and where did we finish. As for this season he appointed the manager with the best Cv the man to blame is Adams.

John, That was my point entirely. I just think Dale Vince is using the green angle to make money and Forest Green as an ego boost.
How can he ban his players from eating meat, what is he? a dictator. I know the response i would get if i told my lads no bacon butties on a Friday morning.
Yes Forrest Green are currently a more valuable asset than us , most are.
Not many football club chairmen are in it for the good of the town or city there club is named after, which is a crying shame.

    i agree entirely
Its the , i am better than you attitude that all these green campaigners have. Dale Vince is no different, has he not recently been told by the FA he has to cater for all within the stadium, his veggie menu excludes many who like a good meat pie and a pint not made from soya extract.

Watching the winter Olympics from China they were ski jumping and doing aerobatics and guess what was in the back ground, cooling towers, until you get the likes of China, India, Brazil etc on board to use you'd phrase "were passing against the wind".

Hi Dave. I do have a bit of info on all the green agenda. A family member is at uni doing enviromental studies.
Some of the things she tells me are hilarious. It is all part of the green agenda being pushed at this present time.

Adams has been the constant in all this and any look at his track record tells us that his personality, football and tactics have remained uniform throughout. Even some of the same players follow him from club to club. Either Sparks got his due diligence wrong, didn't realise what he was getting and was wrong to appoint him or he was the best man with the best CV as you suggest in which case he was wrong to sack him. Spin it all you like but there's no doubting Sparks either lack conviction in his own decisions or lacks the bottle to see them through.
