    Has it ever been stated in the media how much Rupp actually spent to buy the club?

    Or was it one of those 'a source close to the club believes the figure paid is x amount' affairs?

    If he wants a penny over what he bought the club for then he hasn't a hope in hell of selling unless Edin has convinced some other poor sap that he knows football. Imagine if it's Edin and some other crackpot!!

    Yes but is not a direct quote. This is what was said.

    The Bantams, odds on to be relegated, are on course to lose £2m this season after an expensively-assembled squad flopped horribly.

    Further down Julian said that Rupp was committed to funding this seasons loss, no actually figure.

    Until the accounts are released we won’t know.

    He might want £8m but there is no one out there going to pay anything near £8m for a league two club with no assets and who don't own there own ground.
